“Maya sure has some nerve,” he muttered internally.

“You didn’t have to kill her,” her voice ringing into Antonio's ears with a mixture of fear.

Their faces mere inches apart, Antonio’s gaze locked with hers. Then he frowned,

"Make sure Amora doesn't meet anyone and no one goes in to see her." He instructed staring at the bodygaurds, "No one, I repeat, no one is allowed to meet with Amora or even approach her. If anything were to happen to her again, I will not hesitate to deal with you accordingly."

His words sent a shiver down the guards' spines. Turning on his heel, Antonio stalked away.

The chauffeur drove him to his destination.

Dahalia Hotels appeared before him, its grandeur reminding him of the night he found Amora shivering in her drenched dress, begging for a room.

A nostalgic smile briefly tugged at Antonio's lips, but it vanished as quickly as it had come. His focus was jarred as he almost collided with a young lady.
