"They crossed a line," he declared, his gaze boring into Antonio's retreating back.

As Antonio mingled with other influential shareholders, Buccolini's snort drew the attention of his friends, who returned his gaze with smirking grins.

"The father stole from me, and in turn, I was forced to take measures to ensure he was dealt with," Buccolini continued, his expression betraying no sign of remorse. "It was the only option available."

"Does Antonio know?" One of Buccolini's friend asked.

A dismissive shrug of Buccolini's shoulders was the only answer they received in return,

"Are you going to inform him?" he retorted, "You wouldn't dare risk your livelihood for something as trivial as a bit of knowledge, would you?”

The man chuckled nervously exchanging glances with his colleagues, "Why would I tell him? The past is the past. He wouldn't have been a great man if not for your benevolence. He should be so lucky to be alive."
