The cool breeze made Jasira shiver as she walked on the dark street to her house. It was two in the morning that she was done at the club and she needed to be home. It was not her first time walking alone at night but tonight it was dangerously silent, so silent that it sent a shiver down her spine and made her throat dry up. She wrapped her hand over her body protectively and rubbed her arm.
It felt like she was being watched but each time she glanced back, all she saw was darkness and silence so she just increased her pace and in no time, she was home and locking her door.
"Phew!' She breathed in relief walking wobbly to her mom's room.
Thankfully she was still sleeping so she went back to her room and lay on the bed.
Her mind reflected on the blue-eyed man. He look strange, he emitted a strange dark aura with that huge man beside him who looked scary.
She exhaled and rolled to the other side of the bed, should she be scared of them? But how dare he? how could he refer to her as a hooker?
She hissed in disgust before she pulled the duvet over her body and drifted to sleep.
******
The early morning sun shone brightly into Jasira's face making her squirt her face open and a yawn left her mouth.
She pulled the duvet away and checked the time from her screen phone.
Six in the morning, she still have an hour to get ready so she could use drugs for her mother.
Without wasting any more time, she went to the washroom. She flicked her tired eyes open as she stared at her reflection in the mirror.
Her light hazel eyes had dark circles under them. They looked so tired and had lost their shining attributes. Her olive skin was now rough and kinky.
It has been a long she treated her skin so she looked rough and a bit ugly now but that was never her problem, her mother is her worry now. Her ginger hair sticks out of her head with a split end. She should find money to treat herself professionally.
She needed money for her surgery, and two million dollars for all her health expenses, she was diagnosed with leukemia a month ago but she had been mentally unstable for years ago and it got worse a year ago.
She needed money so badly.
She spat the toothpaste foam out of her mouth and rinsed her mouth and face before she walked out to prepare something for her to eat.

"Bye mom." she pecked mother's cheeks and turned to the middle-aged woman who was her nanny, Marina.
"Please, take care of her." She pleaded and gave her a small smile and walked out.
She closed the door and breathe in the fresh air skipping down the three staircases.
She stopped on the third when she saw a black Mercedes Benz pulled over in front of her house.
The door opened slowly and a man in his mid-thirties came out, he had low hair on his head and his black eyes looked so darkened with his huge stature.
She squirted her eyes trying to remember where she had seen him then it clicked, he was the huge guy with the blue-eyed man.
What is he doing here? She adjusted her gown and raised her head high. She was going to pretend that she didn't see him. She exhaled and bypassed their car.
"Miss." His thick voice reached out to her, her legs stopped on their own even when she didn't want it. It was as if she was being controlled. The man soon appeared in her front.
"Boss wants to see you."
Jasira twitched her lips to a side in confusion, boss wanted to see her.
"Excuse you?"
"Who is your boss?"
"Don't make this harder, just go with us."
"No." She deadpanned and walked past him but a hand dragged her back.
She stiffed when a cold metal hit her side, she glanced down to see a pistol pointing at her rib.
"What?" She wanted to scream but stopped immediately, her mother's nanny was going to come out if they heard her voice.
She inhaled and exhaled before following him gently to the car. Every step she took towards the car made her heart thump faster in her chest, and her breath also quickened and came out sharper.
The was another huge guy in the car with a colder face, she swallowed her lump as she sat beside him and the guy entered after her.
The car zoomed off after that, "Where are you taking me to?" She demanded.
The guy glared at her coldly and said nothing.
She tucked his bicep and he snapped his head to her.
"I think I deserved some answer, mr man."
"Oh, you are not going to say anything right."
He turned to her and declared in a harsh and brutal voice.
"He didn't want you dead not injured, any more words from you and I will fire a bullet into your damn legs."
She clamped her mouth shut immediately as she swallowed the sudden lump in her throat.
She withdraw and brought her legs to the seat and hugged it close to her body. Her precious legs.
What kind of bastard is he?
She knew she shouldn't say anything and should just wait silently till they got to their destination, but Jasira is her name.
"You can fire me a bullet or anything but that should be after you answer my damn question."
The man turned to her abruptly with a pistol pointed to her leg, and his hand ready to press the trigger.
Wait, He is not joking!
"You are not joking?" She jerked away in fear as she whimpered when he said nothing but glared dangerously at her leg.
"Please, don't shoot me." She pleaded ready to tear up.
Her heart thumped and a low whimper left her mouth when he didn't attempt to withdraw the pistol.
"I will listen to your rules now." She promised and he gave her one last cold glare before he withdraw the gun.
A loud relieving breath left her mouth as she rocked herself forward and backward with shaking hands.
What sort of shit is she in now?
Alejandro stood before the full-length mirror staring at his reflection, he adjusted his watch and smiled in satisfaction at his look. He caught a glimpse of Jasira looking at him, and every time their eyes met she removed her gaze, that was the third it had happened. He smiled turning to her. "Say what's in your mind baby girl, I can feel your eyes eating me up." He winked crossing his hands over his chest. "I don't bite." Jasira scoffed with a small laugh, "I'm not looking at you, my eyes are not eating you up." She denied closing the closet. "Moreover, I was only wondering why some parts of your hair are not combed properly, your tie is also undone." She added, proud of herself to have found something to say. Alejandro chuckled, he saw through her lies but left it. "Will you help me with them?" He asked picking a comb from the vanity, and she was already standing before him eagerly. "Here." He passed the comb to her, and she smiled brightly. "You know I'm always jeal
Jasira woke up with the morning sun shining on her face, she groaned with her eyes closed, and she turned away from the sun to continue sleeping. 'I'm on vacation.' The thought crossed her mind and she yanked up immediately. She looked around the room for Alejandro and sank when he was nowhere to be found. He was one of the reasons she was so excited about waking up early. "Where did he go this early morning?" She asked no one as she picked up her phone from the nightstand. "10:00 am." She yelled flying to her feet. "That was unbelievable." She walked to the half-wall window, she placed her hands on the as she looked at the bright sun. She had thought it was just eight in the morning, but the bright sun in the sky told her otherwise. This was one of the best sleep she had had since she was discharged from the hospital, she had no nightmares, and there were no drumming sounds in her ears today. She stared at the orchards that surrounded the house, they were so tall and fruity

Alejandro carried sleeping Jasira in his arms as he got out of the car, she fell asleep in the car on their way. The guard walked faster than him to open the door for him. "Boss," He acknowledged and Alejandro nodded his head to him. The sweet rose smell welcomed him as he closed his eyes briefly. The walls of the living room were painted peach with black stripes, a color he chose because of Jasira. He was a fan of brighter colors but he'd do anything for her. Three gold chandeliers hung in the middle of the room. There are two white three-seater sofas and a glass coffee table in the middle. A big TV was on the wall, with bookshelves beside it. It was simple, just the way he ordered. The maids did a good job with the cleaning, and he was amazed at that. He gave them a short time because they needed to leave before they arrived. Three guards who helped with their luggage climbed down the stairs and stood before him. "We will be on our way, boss." The black-haired among them spo
____Two weeks later____Jasira had been discharged from the hospital a week and three days ago, and the scars on her chin were already fading thanks to the ointment Alejandro got for her. "I can't believe I'm going to the Bahamas," Jasira giggled as she linked her hand with Alejandro's. They had just gotten out of his SUV at his private airport, and they were ready to board his private jet. "And this is my first time flying a private jet also.""Really?" Alejandro patted her hair, and she giggled like a baby, an act she did whenever he patted her hair now, he wasn't equally surprised about hearing that but he just wanted to keep talking to her. "Yes, and I'm so excited." She nodded laughing and skipped forward, she wasn't shy to be happy before Alejandro again. He was gentle to her, and the coldness around him with her wasn't there anymore. All she could see when looking at him was softness and love, though the love part still scared her but other than that, she was happy with him.
Alejandro punched the driver seat headrest angrily, Maxwell was driving too slow for him, he used to be faster than this."Drive faster for fuck sake, are you a snail?" He yelled at him adjusting Jasira in his arms. He would have driven if he wasn't carrying an almost lifeless Jasira."I'm sorry boss, it's going to be okay." He increased the acceleration to a higher one, and the car flew through the highway skipping through all traffic lights, Alejandro wanted that but he was still not satisfied."Go as fast as you can, nothing must happen to Jasira, not when I'm yet to tell her how I feel." He didn't mind if Maxwell knew about his feelings for Jasira, he would scream to the world if that would wake her up. "Don't die on me Jasira," He tapped her cheeks softly and his heart broke feeling how cold her skin was. He shouldn't have left her side, maybe he would have noticed any stranges within her. He wrapped his trembling hand around her on his lap while chewing his lips, he couldn't lo
