Meeting the devil

In a dimly red cold small room, a middle-aged man was seen kneeling with his hand tied behind him. His teeth clashed together, adrenaline rolled down his body. He feel extremely hot even when the room was so cold.

"I'm... sorry." He muttered choking on his words, shaking visibly. He looked pale as a ghost. He could only stare at the shining black oxford shoes. he dared not raise his head to look at the owner.

"I won't tamper with your goods anymore."

A dark chuckle filled the room, it was shocking and terrifying. It scared everyone except the owner, then the man crouched to his level.

His blue eyes filled with darkness as he stared at the shivering man on the ground.

"What is my name?" The question threw the man off guard.

    "The... devil."

"You messed with the devil and guess what, there won't be another time."

He stood up and raise to his giant 6.5 height, he glanced at the shivering man on the floor.

He doesn't kill by gun, the fear of him only killed them. He took a second glanced at him and shook his head before he fired two bullets into his thighs. A loud agony shout filled the room as the man jerked in pain and slumped to the ground. That should kill him slowly and painfully.

    He is the devil!

He marched out with the man groaning in pain behind him which only pleased him more. Satisfaction run through his body. He loved how petrified his moan sounds.

"Boss." His right-handed man called with a light bow as he came out of the dark room.

    "Speak Maxwell,"

"The cars are ready." He announced.

Time to get laid, he thought.

    _________

"Mom, you have to eat so you could use your drug," Jasira said to her mother who pulled the duvet over her head.

"Seriously mum." She rolled her eyes when she didn't budge.

Her mother slowly pulled down the duvet and pouted at her, "Will it stop the pain permanently?" She asked piercings her grey eyes into hers.

Jasira felt a deep pain eaten deep into her heart hearing what her mother said. She gulped down before she put on a forced smile, "Of course." She beamed.

"And you will be able to sleep." She added.

"Okay, I want it." Her mother beamed like a baby before she yanked the duvet away and sat up quickly. Jasira breathe in relief after she gulped down the drug.

"Now you can sleep peacefully." She muttered sweetly as she tucked her in.

She waited for some minutes glancing at her closed eyes after noticing she was not faking it anymore. She walked out of the room to her room.

She exhaled deeply, her eyes moved to the small almost pieced wall clock on the floor.

"Holy moly, I'm late." She half screamed before she dashed to her small-sized wardrobe.

She flung it open and the door fell to the floor, "What have I done?" She cried staring at the detached door on the floor.

Now, she had this add this to the money she was looking for. She hissed annoyed, her eyes ransacked the wardrobe quickly before she brought out a blue bodycon gown. she threw it on quickly and grabbed her purse which had her phone and some cash stacked in it.

She went back to her mother's room and saw her sleeping peacefully on the bed.

She sighed and quickly turned away, closing the door quietly and locking the main entrance door on her way out. She dropped the keys in her purse.

A hiss left her mouth when the cold breeze hit her skin, she rubbed her palm together and rubbed them on her arm. She hated harmattan so much, she preferred the sunny hot day, and the cold gave her chills. The cold breeze blew her hair to her face which she brought back and walked briskly to the bus station.

"Midwest club." She flagged down a taxi which halted immediately.

    "Midwest club." She said again.

"Ten dollars." He answered simply and she groaned at the high price before stepping in.

She stared at the roadside and the stars in the sky, the cool breeze made her skin tingle. She brought in her head from the opened window and sighed.

She felt disturbed without knowing the reasons, maybe it was because of her mother's health. She needed two million dollars to settle her health bills plus every payment she owed. Her job as a waitress at Midwest club was the only chance to get money faster...

"We are here, ma." The cab driver announced as the car stopped before a buzzing club.

She handed him his money and alighted from the cab, he zoomed off immediately. Jasira did a quick scan of her phone to check the time to see how late she was. She decided to go in through the back door.

"Hey." A blonde girl greeted her with a smile.

"Barbie." She smiled back at her calling her by her nickname.

She glared at her playfully and they both laugh.

"Put on your uniform before the manager started yelling." She said whispering the last words. Jasira chuckled and nodded her head.

"He Is at your back," Barbie whispered, her face turning blue and Jasira stiffed.

"When?" She said frantically turning back swiftly and saw no one. She turned to lash out at Barbie but she ran away while laughing.

"Ptf!" She puffed out shaking her head and walked away.

She would get back to her.

She got to their dressing room answering the greeting from other people. She opened her drawer and brought out her clothes, dropping them on the desk beside her.

In a short time, she was done putting on her uniform which was a short gown that stop before her knees. The sleeveless black gown with white lace at the short sleeve arm and a white lace tapping the hem. It also has a low back and hugged her body tightly.

She change her flat shoes to heels, exhaled, and walked out of the changing room.

The sweat, the alcohol, the breaths, and the sins welcomed her immediately after she stepped into the main part of the club.

Her eyes roamed around the club and stopped at the dancing stage, the strippers doing what they know best and a lot of men ogling over them even women.

It was nothing to her now since she had used more than two months here now.

"Jasira," Barbie shouted her name from the counter, even though she shouted her name, it only sounds like a faint call due to the loud music. She smiled before she walked briskly to her.

"Why are your eyes fixed on the strippers?" She cocked her brow at her.

"You wanna join them?" She winked which make her groan and shook her head at her.

She was about to say something when the manager trodded toward their desk.

Barbie hissed lightly and Jasira rolled her eyes, they dislike the manager so much, he is so bossy.

He got to them, studying their expression which made him scoff, he knew they hated him and he doesn't give a fuck.

He narrowed his eyes at them and a slight smirk appeared on his face as he pocketed his hands.

"Is this what you guys should be doing?" He snapped at them, shaking his head at their neglecting habit.

Jasira rolled her eyes a bit without his knowledge before she turned to him.

"We will get back to work now." She said in her most sweet voice just for him to leave them alone.

He scoffed and was about to turn back but stopped when he remembered something.

"We are having a VVIP customer today." He paused and stared at them before he continued. "Please you guys should behave and do all that he wants." His words came out like a plea which he had never done.

Jasira was stunned hearing how soft his voice sounded, she nodded assuringly at him then he walked away.

She turned to Barbie to ask if she saw how he did back then but she was busy.

"I will attend to that man." She rushed pointing at the man who just got in.

    "Okay," Jasira replied simply.

It was only five minutes later when Barbie was not with her when the glass door threw open and three men dressed In black suits trodded in.

The dark aura they came in with pulled a lot of eyes to them. Everybody was eager to see the faces behind the black half mask they had on even Jasira whose eyes were fixed on the man in the middle whose suit was jet black and had a big shining wristwatch on and a silver crest ring on his pinkie.

She was sure she was not the only one amazed by the men especially the middle one with glowing blue eyes like the ocean. Her eyes followed them to the VVIP section. They found their way like they were very familiar with the club.

She was still ogling over them when the manager stood in her front blocking her gaze in the process.

"What?" She was close to snapping at him when she changed her tone immediately.

"Attend to them." He said nothing more than that before he walked away more like running away.

What is wrong with him today? She wondered staring at his retreating figure before she grabbed her jotter and a pen and then walked to the mysterious men.

She couldn't help her heart that was pondering hard In her chest as she approached their table. The goosebumps peppered her open skin and her cleavage that suddenly became hot at the gaze the blue-eyed was casting on them.

"G... good evening." The words flew out of her mouth subconsciously, she bite her lips at the nonsense she blurted out.

"I... I mean what did you want?" She still shuttered not getting her words correct, that was not even the line she was supposed to say. She braced herself up, her eyes locked with the blue-eyed one for a second before she tore it away immediately. She watched as he communicated with the huge man beside him without saying anything but a twitch in his eyes.

"Yes, boss." He muttered. How husky his voice was didn't really surprise her. He looked so huge and matured enough to own the voice. He dipped his hand into his pocket and brought out two bundles of hundreds of dollars.

"Here." Maxwell passed to Jasira who cocked her brow stunningly.

    "I haven't taken your orders."

"One night stand with my boss." Maxwell cut her up with his sharp tone.

For some minutes, Jasira was stunned, her lips curved into a small circle and she stared at him with an unbelievable eye. She might be poor but not a prostitute. She chuckled lightly and turned to him.

"Thanks." She said politely and turned away from them.

"Stop." Her leg was forced to halt upon hearing the coldest voice. She had never heard a voice as cold and thick as that. Cold ran through her spine as she turned to them. Her knees weakened when she saw the sharp blue eyes fixed on her. She tore her gaze immediately and stared at the floor.

"Don't waste his time," Maxwell warned.

She swallowed the lump in her throat, they may be scary but that won't break her gut.

"I'm sorry, I am only a waiter here not a whore." She answered politely once again.

"My boss wants you and he must have you, stop making it difficult for yourself."

She was shocked to the bone seeing the audacity he have, she didn't know when she scoffed out a short daring laugh and stared coldly into his eyeball, "In your boss's dream!"

"What the hell?" Maxwell thundered standing on his feet immediately which made Jasira jerk back in fear.

Alejandro raised his hand and she swore she saw his right eye twitch and was back to normal as quickly as it came.

"Let her go." He said. His voice was calm, extremely calm. She was supposed to be okay with the level of his voice but that scared her more than his deadly voice.

She forced her leg from the ground and took to her heels, she squat between the sweaty dancers and finally reached the desk.

She released the heavy breath she never knew she was holding and glanced back at their side, even from the dim light. She can feel his eyes on her telling her she should have not done what she just did.
