"She is stable but has not woken up." Alejandro was already inside Jasira's ward before the doctor could finish her sentence.

He stopped in his tracks seeing Jasira placed on a ventilator, she had a bandage around her head and another at her foot, and her arm.

Something tugged at his heart so that it hurt so much, that he folded his palm tightly so he wouldn't grab his chest.

"What happened to her?" He asked with his gaze still on Jasira. His voice came out low.

"She lost a lot of blood and she is having conflict with her inner mind about waking up."

"Specific date of when she is supposed to wake up."

"It can be today if she responded to treatment or a week or a month and maybe a year."

He snapped his head at her immediately, "What do you mean by that?"

"I...I boss."

"Get out." He thundered and she took to her heels immediately banging the door loudly on her way out not minding the patient sleeping in the clinic.
