Playing with fire

The lounge room was as silent as a graveyard as they both engaged in a staring competition.

"In your dream." He repeated like he was tasting the words on his lips, he rested his back on the sofa and tilted his brow to a side as he stared intensively at the tiny girl that was trying to be bold in his front or maybe she was really bold.

She placed her hands on her waist and made her legs wide, trying to make her stance wide and strong.

His eyes run a quick search from her head to her toe, he does have his type and she exactly it. He was going to fuck her until he begged him not to stop and she would cry on his chest for him to fuck her. He doesn't do forcing, he simply waited for them to crawl into his trap and that was it.

Her hands held her tiny waist firmly, the waist he still manage to wonder how it carried her big butts and hips.

"You can never have me." He heard her vow and he raised his eyes from her waist to her hazel eyes that glister with braveness but behind the boldness was a fragile lady cowering in fear.

    "Your name?" He asked again.

"I thought you did your research to top notch."

He raised his brow as his eyes glowed in a slight fury. She swallowed her lump and move back.

"Jasira." She answered lowly. His hardened gaze has not lowered from her body, shivers run through her spine and she moved a bit back from him, how badly she wished she knew what is going on in that devilish head of his, she heaved a heavy breath avoiding his gaze as possible.

    "Jasira," He repeated her name.

"Are you trying to be bold like your name inspires or you are bold?"

Jasira couldn't comprehend what he meant at first so she only stared at him before it clicked, she was exchanging words with the devil, the man whose name was hidden from everyone.

The man who can burn down a house when furious, she was playing with the fire itself.

"I'm just me." She answered anyway.

'I'm just me.' He thought. He loved the answer, she is not only bold, but she is also smart.

His phone beeped by his side and his eyes shone slightly when he saw the message. He turned to Jasira.

    "Leave." He dismissed coldly.

She stared at him with her eyes popped out, it was as if her ears are malfunctioning like she didn't just hear the one word he said out of his mouth.

    "Just like that?"

His head snapped towards her and she shrink at the fast movement.

    "Don't you want to leave?"

"No." She half yelled shaking her head.

    "Then leave."

Jasira blinked her eyes to be sure she was not dreaming, she thought she was the devil. The man who never spares his victim, no one had denied him something that he freaking spared, and just like that he is letting her go.

What if she was leaving and he fired a bullet into her damn skull,

"Did you have a gun with you?"

Alejandro tilted his brow aside at her question, he looked at her and saw her brow tighten and her fist shook slightly in fear. It feels like she just called the most hated thing in her life. Her hazel eyes were changing their radiation gradually.

    "Gun?" He asked.

He watched as she shook slightly and snapped her eyes closed before she snapped them open.

"Never mind." She said rapidly then walked hastily out of his presence.

She took a short look at the huge man before dashing out.

She ran through the hallway and jerked the front door knob.

She ran. escaping all the pictures painted in her head, the deadly scene keeps replaying. Blood, wasted bullets, a pistol, dead bodies.

She ran despite the gazes people were giving to her as she speed past them, she keep running as much as her legs never failed her.

It had been years since she mentioned the black metal name, she thought she had gone beyond the panic mode.

She didn't how long she had run until a car started to follow her, she glanced at the car over her shoulder without stopping.

Police. She thought as she slowed down, she slumped to the ground immediately she stopped running.

Her breathing came out extremely low while her chest heave up and down, darkness threatened to cover her but she refused to submit to it. She strained her eyes especially when the cops surround her.

"Miss, are you okay?" Their voice sounds far away in her head, she blinked her eyes while closing them slowly.

"Carry her." The words were so faint but she took all her strength to snap her eyes open.

She shook her head and they stopped.

She shaped her hand into a cylinder shape and brought it to her mouth.

"Water?" She blinked her eyes before she shut them closed once again.

The deadly sight appeared in her vision again, the clotted blood, thirteen years old her walked through the sticky blood with tears rolling down her cheeks...

"Open up." She heard as they lifted her to a sitting position.

The bottle was pushed to her mouth and she gulped the strange liquid down her throat, it taste strange and she was right when a cop told her it was glucose-filled water.

    ******

The cops dropped her at her house, she watched as they drove away after she had thanked them.

A lot of worse things would have happened to her if the cops didn't save her earlier. she dusted out the sand from her clothes as she climbed the staircase to her house gently, punched the code, and slide in quietly trying not to make any sounds.

The lounge room was empty and she was grateful for that. She walked briskly to her room, changed her clothes, and walked back to her mom's room before the nanny suspected she was back.

She was wearing a black off-shoulder knee-length gown with white stripes towards the end before and now she was wearing the same thing without stripes, she just hope her mother won't be able to differentiate them.

    _______

She woke up extremely late than she imagined, she was half an hour late for her resuming time and she was not even dressed at all. She didn't know when she fell asleep earlier and now, she was late again.

Her phone beeped from her side and she grabbed it lazily before checking bit.

    Don't come to work today.

                                        Barbie.

The text read and her heart thudded loudly in her chest. The devil Is looking for her again. She should listen to her but what was the use when they knew her house?

She sighed heavily before she stood up to get dress.
