Six months later

Caspian refused to be late for his babies’ first scan. Sean was in the front seat of the car, driving like a madman through the city, getting him to the nearest private hospital. It had taken some time and a lot of digging for them to find a female wolf doctor who helped fellow pack members.

It just so happened that the doctor they were seeing was another unwanted, and like him, she’d built a life outside of any pack without going rogue and killing everyone. Caspian, as far as he was concerned, was justified in all of his judgments. There was no such thing as wolves going rogue. It wasn’t going to happen.

Packs said that to wolves to terrify them. It was clever of them, but it wasn’t something he was ever going to adopt.
