Chapter 25.1 Shoreline Part 7 Completing a small quest
They were lead by a former deserter of the Moon Valley Sect. An Inheriting Disciple, Cao Xen who did not want to become a Cultivation Furnace for an Elder that had an accident.
Living the life on a run was something he was ok with.. Better than losing everything he worked for as well as losing his life possibly. The wind picked up as a small snowstorm started.
The bandits took it as a sign to help them rob better.
"Well... that is new." The leader said. Cao Xen was given a look over to those behind him. Lots of other stray disciples were picked off by them in this area. They came from the east of Ren's group. "One more robbery and that wil be it."
"Sounds good. To bad we couldn't rob those royals that got away. But maybe we can run into that one that was separated?"
"Perfect time to trike." Cao Xen stated. Ren looked to be out of breath after his process. "Looks like that fan guy exhausted himself. Time to relieve him of that burden."

The Ice Palace was quite large and stretched as far as the eyes could see. Large walls and defensive pillars reached the clouds. Countless Frost Birds made a perch throughout the various openings.
