New Beginnings

I sat in my room, perched on the edge of my bed, gazing at a photo from my childhood. It captured a precious moment of my brother and me, frolicking around in diapers. The memory brought a smile to my face as I recalled how my brother wore the diapers just so I wouldn't feel alone.

Looking around my now-empty room, a sense of anticipation filled the air. Today marked the beginning of my college journey, and the initial excitement that had faded momentarily surged back within me.

This new chapter held a world of possibilities, and I was determined to savor every moment. Though I felt a pang of sadness knowing I would miss my home, my mother and brother were my pillars of support, and now I was leaving them behind.

It was especially hard for my mother, who would now be alone at home most days. Yet, she had her club to keep her engaged. Surprisingly, my brother, who attended the same college, was enthusiastic about dropping me off, secretly hoping to meet new girls along the way
