Narrator's POV

When Lesley is coming up with yet another plan to get rid of Tina, Tina has calmed down from the strange feeling of getting into the city she calls home in such a rebellious manner. Suddenly a shadow casts over her, making Tina look up to a strict voice--

"Miss Cleo, I presume?"

In front of Tina is a woman in her forties. Her hair combed, delicate and elegant. Even the wrinkles at her eye corners look in order like soldiers standing in a line.

Lilith Bryant.

The head of the Department of Neurosurgery in the Central Hospital, and also the one who replied to Tina's job application after graduation this summer.

"Dr. Bryant?" Tina sorts her expression into a professional smile and reaches over for a handshake, "Thank you so much for the offer, and for taking out time to meet me!"
