Damian’s POV

I took a long sip of my tea, letting the warmth run down my throat. My fingers gently played with the edge of the letter in my hand, the ink still slightly wet.

I had prepared a letter to be delivered to the Dark Armies for the sake of forming an alliance with them.

I just needed a strong army of rogues for the sake of going to war with Kyler.

The healer pressed down harder on my leg, and I winced. “Watch it,” I muttered, clenching my jaw.

“You’re lucky you didn’t lose the limb,” he said, not looking up.

“You have got a major injury in here..” he said as he messaged the lower part of my leg.

Lucky? I didn’t feel lucky.

My whole body ached, my mouth was sore, and every breath felt like I was being stabbed from the inside. But nothing hurt more than the thought of Lena. Of not knowing how she was doing and if she was even still breathing.

I stared at the letter again. A letter to the Dark Armies. A group of Lycans more feared than death itself.

"Kyler wants war?" I said un

She tilts her chin up, her lips parting slightly."You are starving me so I had to do it myself..” she murmurs, stroking herself harder.I should have resisted her and asked her for the picture I came looking for but I didn't.Instead, I kissed her. It’s not soft. It’s not patient. It’s claiming. Her body stiffens for a heartbeat, but then she melts into me, her fingers finding my shirt, clutching it tight. I slide a hand up her thigh, beneath the silk of her dress, my palm finding bare, warm skin."You couldn't even wear panties?"“How desperate..”I breathe against her mouth. She shivers. "I didn’t expect company."I smirk, pushing my fingers between her legs, feeling how wet she is. "L

Lena’s POV"Are you sure we have to do this?" I asked my wolf, dragging my feet through the thick underbrush.“Yes, she replied firmly. We can’t stop now. We’ve come too far.”She was right. I had already left the Silverfang Pack hours ago or maybe more. But with each step, my legs grew heavier. My throat was dry, my stomach grumbled in hunger and my head throbbed from the lack of food.I didn't know where I was going though but I just knew I had to go, I had to go far away from Kyler's presence.I just wanted to escape him, escape having his scent near me or having that mini-witch of Alison around me.“I can’t keep going like this…” I whispered to myself. “My body’s giving up.”Still, I pushed forward, my arms wrapped around my middle. Hunger clawed at me, sharper than any wolf’s bite. That was when I saw something strange ahead, half-hidden behind a wall of tangled vines. I moved closer, squinting.“What is that… a cave?”No, not quite. As I stepped nearer, I realized it wasn’t mad

Lena’s POVTonight was supposed to be a night of triumph. A night where I stood beside my mate, the man the Moon Goddess had fated me to, as he ascended to his rightful place as Alpha. Instead, I stood at the edge of the grand ballroom, my hands clenched at my sides, my throat tight with humiliation. The hall was dazzling, chandeliers bathed the room in warm light, casting a golden glow over the guests who laughed, drank, and celebrated. It should have been a perfect night. But the moment my husband stepped onto the stage, the atmosphere stirred.Damian looked every bit the Alpha in his tailored black suit, his piercing green eyes sweeping over the crowd with authority. His presence commanded attention, his dark hair perfectly styled, his lips curled in a smirk that made the she-wolves in the room sigh in admiration. And yet, despite being his Luna, the woman who had stood by his side through blood and sacrifice, he hadn’t even looked at me.I swallowed past the lump in my throat as a

Lena's Pov How they gripped me made it obvious that I wouldn’t be escaping anytime soon.“What the hell is going on, Damian?” I shouted, struggling against the iron grip of the two gammas holding me from behind. My heart pounded, and panic clawed at my chest.Damian stood a few feet away, his gaze as cold and unreadable as ever. The man I had once believed was my fated mate, now looked at me with nothing but indifference. He exhaled slowly, rubbing his temples as if I were nothing more than a nuisance. “Don’t make this harder than it has to be, Lena.”“Harder?” My breath hitched. What the hell was he talking about?I jerked against the gammas’ hold, but their fingers dug into my arms. “Let me go! What’s happening?”Damian’s jaw clenched, but he didn’t move to stop them. Instead, he tilted his head toward the looming figure beside him. A man I hadn’t even noticed in my panic. The man exuded an aura so commanding that the air in the room seemed to tremble around him. Kyler's Pov“Going somewhere, little wolf?” My voice cut through the silence, making her freeze. For a moment, she didn’t move. Then, slowly, she turned to face me, her breath unsteady, her dark eyes locking onto mine. She didn’t look afraid. If anything, she looked defiant.“Does it matter to you?" she asked, her voice steady.I didn’t answer right away. Instead, I just smiled, because, for the first time, I couldn't deny the fact that Lena was ethereal. The way her dark hair spilled over her shoulders, wild and unkempt, and her lips were slightly parted as if she was daring me to stop her made my wolf restless.I shook my head, regaining defiance.I was an Alpha, and I shouldn't be moved by beauty. If it was about beauty, then she wouldn't stand a chance with Alison or other she-wolves in the pack. She was here on a duty and that was to bear me pups owing to the prophecy. And as for the mate bond, that was just a cruel joke. She definitely can't be my mate, a divorced Luna?Hell,

Lena's PovIt had been two weeks of my stay in the Silver Fang pack and it seemed more cruel than I had ever imagined.I wanted to scream. No, I wanted to rip my ears off and toss them out the damn window. I hate this place. The Silver Fang packhouse was cold, unwelcoming, and filled with wolves who either sneered at me or pretended I didn’t exist. But worst of all was the nightly torture coming from Alpha Kyler’s room.I buried my head under the pillow, my entire body stiff with irritation. The walls of the Silver Fang packhouse were thick, but not thick enough to drown out the muffled sounds of pleasure seeping through Kyler’s door.I clenched my nails tight with frustration, my nails digging into the sheets as another breathy moan rang out, followed by a low, rumbling growl. It sounded disgusting.I sat up, glaring at the wall as if I could burn a hole through it with sheer hatred. Did Kyler have no shame? I was stuck here, forced into this situation against my will, and he was

Alison's PovImmediately after Elder Elijah stepped away, I stared at Lena in pure disgust. Even before now, every time I saw her, it felt like a knife was being twisted in my chest. She had only been in the Silver Fang pack for two weeks, yet everything had changed. Kyler, who had always adored me, now seemed different. Even though he pretended to treat her with indifference, I could see it, the small glances, the admiration in his eyes, which he couldn't hide, the way his eye followed her movements when he thought no one was watching. And I hated her for it.Yanking the bedsheets away from my half-covered body, my blood boiled as I headed toward the door to confront her. She had to be put in her place.Lena had no right to stand here, arguing with Kyler like she was his equal. She had no reason to challenge him proudly even in ways I had never done before and act like she was anything more than what she truly was, a cursed divorced whore, thrown here by fate to breed his pups.“Le

Lena’s PovFor a moment, we just stared at each other. For some weird reason, I felt an undeniable connection to him.My tongue was numb, and my voice was almost impossible to speak.“What should I say to him?”“Why exactly has he defended me?”The tension that hung between us was so thick that it could be easily cut through with a knife.”Kyler stood a few feet away, his arms crossed, his expression cold as it always has.I forced myself to swallow, my voice barely above a whisper. “Why?”His brow lifted slightly. “Why what?”“Why did you stop her?” I asked, my fingers tightening at my sides.“You had always hated me, so why did you defend me?”He just looked at me. Then, to my utter frustration, he let out a mocking chuckle. It was the kind of laugh that sent heat rushing to my face, like I had just asked the most ridiculous question in the world.“You are not important, so don’t flatter yourself,” he said, shaking his head.“I am not flattering anyone here. Lena’s POVI stared at Alison, sprawling all over the floor, clutching her stomach as she screamed like a banshee.“That serves her right…” I heard a voice inside of me. Her tone was sharp and satisfied.A broad smile spread across my lips for the first time in a long while. Even if just for a second, it felt good to know Karin hadn't turned her back on me completely.I looked down at the arrow in my hand, its tip now stained red, and I couldn't help but marvel at the weight it carried—not just physically, but mystically. The maids panicked, crying out, trying to rush out of the room.“Go get Alpha Kyler!” one screamed.“Shut up and leave her,” I snapped, my voice calm but cold. “She got exactly what she deserves.”The maids froze, unsure what to do. But when I turned my glare on them, they quickly backed away and scurried out.I took a breath and turned toward the door. My hand reached for the handle, ready to walk away from it—Alison, Kyler, and all the betrayal. I was done! But ju

Alison's POV“Do you call this a manicure? My dog has better grooming than this,” I snapped, flicking my freshly polished nail at the trembling maid’s face. “Fix it—unless you enjoy being completely useless.”“I don't want my edges jagged...”“Yes...Luna...”The poor girl stammered, her hands trembling as she adjusted my fingers. I didn’t even flinch when I slapped her lightly with the back of my hand. She needed to remember her place.I leaned back, a satisfied smirk curling my lips. It felt too good to be the future Luna, the mother of Alpha Kyler’s heir. Everyone was finally treating me the way I deserved.I have already been assigned personal maids, and Elder Thomas had ordered my belongings moved into Kyler’s room.Because of course, I needed to be close to the father of my child. That was the proper tradition in the pack.I rubbed my stomach slowly as I felt the warmth of my unborn pup.I couldn't wait until it started kicking. I wasn’t just carrying a pup. I was carrying power

Lena's Pov “Trust me..”"I never meant to—" he started.I stared at him with disgust. What exactly does he take me for?Dropping my black bag on the floor and my mysterious arrow, I turned my face to him, desperate to let him see how much he had hurt me."Save it, Kyler," I said, my voice trembling with the sting of every memory. "You meant every second of it."His jaw tightened. "You don't understand.""I understand enough," I snapped. “I understand that I was locked away in the dungeon you put me in; you were out here... busy rubbing your fluids on your lover ." My voice was thick with disgust. "Is that not what you were doing?""Lena, it isn't what you think," he said, his voice low.I shoved the arrow into the bag roughly, trying to ignore how much it hurt to even look at him.Talking to him made me sick.He doesn't expect me to believe him."Don’t insult my intelligence," I retorted. I wanted to tell him everything I was feeling, but instead, tears welled up. You should’ve th

Kyler said, his voice low and cruel as he fixed his gaze on me."Think of what the pack would say..."He took a step closer, and I stood there frozen like a fool, clutching my bag tighter."You want to leave, right?" he continued, a mocking smile spread across his lips. "Close your eyes, Lena. Just imagine the news spreading... Imagine how the pack media would eat this up."He leaned in like he was sharing a secret, and his voice sank deep into my skin."Imagine the names they would tag you…“They will drag your reputation through mud….”“Imagine how all the pack members, even the lowest of the low omega, would call you a slut who can't hold onto her bond.""They would say you can’t stick to a man. You’re jumping from one mate to another like a lost little girl.”He chuckled, and it cut deeper than any knife."Take a moment to think of how Alison would laugh so hard she might choke on her spit."Without knowing it, my bag slipped fr

Kyler's POVWithout wasting another second with Alison, I sprinted off to Lena’s room like my life depended on it.It barely took me three minutes before I arrived at Lena’s room. My heart sank deep into my stomach as I flung the door open only to find her packing a few clothes into a small bag.I could hardly tell if she noticed my presence or not, as she didn't even acknowledge it, not even with a mere glance at me.I stood at the door silently, watching her tie her hair into a messy ponytail. Then she turned slightly to look at herself in the mirror, adjusting the strands that escaped. As she played around with her reflection in the mirror, a strange sense of pride washed over me.I couldn't even deny it.Goddess!.This girl was an angel.I mean, she was damn beautiful, like a bride who was about to walk down the aisle, so gorgeous enough to kill a man.I found myself moving closer without thinking. My hands shook slightly as I leaned in and pressed a soft kiss to the back of her

Kyler’s POVWhen Lena stormed out, nearly every elder immediately excused themselves and ran after her like moths chasing a flame.Except for Elder Yuri and Christine whispering inaudibly words I couldn't fathom, the whole place had turned empty. It was obvious no decision could be taken at this moment, so the meeting had been postponed.I just stood there frozen, Elijah's last words before he walked out on me ringing in my ears.“You missed presenting your mate in the past full moon; you aren't going to miss this one, and as it appears, your sexual promiscuity might cause you more harm than you ever imagined.”I heaved a heavy sigh, trying hard to keep calm. This was just too much.I wondered what had led me to have sex with her.How could she be pregnant at this critical time? And how the hell had she managed to get herself on my bed that very night? How exactly? It seemed as though this was the worst moment in my life, and undoubtedly it is.I had never experienced such chaos and c
