Chapter 35 - Mr. Mask has no woman by his side so we have sent two

The hall was dead silent with fear registered on the faces of all present. Sin Jon seemed abashed by the unexpected entry, exercising his authority. “It is a crime to attack or kill in this meeting,” the godfather said sternly over the microphone, his voice filling the auditorium.

No ordinary person had the paunch to pull such a stunt. It only meant that this assassin, sniper, or whoever he was, had something up his sleeves. The hotel security had already been taken care of so the man at the entrance was confident.

“Shut up old man,” the snipper responded and was about to pull the trigger when he fell on the floor, face down. Even without a microphone, his voice was well heard because of how quiet the auditorium was. Anxiety flooded the hall, as some of the dons went to check on the man on the floor.

At the back of his head was a bullet hole but no one heard the sound of it. When the finding was announced, the hall was trembling and no one knew who had killed the sniper.
