Thank you to everyone who has followed the journey. The last two weeks have been family focused and I will have the next chapter up by the end of the week.
Thank you for sticking with me through this process. As a new writer who joined in the midst of covid to try something new to occupy my ADHD, I never really understood how the process of writing really worked.
To all authors reading, I appreciate all of the work and long hours you put into your writing. I have been inspired by so many of you and I have a new appreciation for what goes into creating a story worth reading.

Lindsey When we arrive, the first thing that hits me is the sheer size of the event. People are everywhere. The line of limos seems almost endless. I was not new to this world, but I never enjoyed it so I avoided events like these. My grandmother never forced me to attend and Ralph was always at these functions for our company. Lindsey“Well, my investment sure did pay off. You are beautifully kept as always. I knew you would be my most valuable possession.” He says with a smile that looks more like a sinister sneer.I am doing everything in my power to control my breathing. LindseyWe step out of the car and Angie helps me adjust my dress and make sure everything is picture perfect. She looks amazing in her off the shoulder cranberry colored dress. I think everything fits her perfectly without trying. The sheer material falling off her shoulders highlights her ivory skin and her raven hair is pulled into a loose messy bun behind her right ear.
