Chapter 15 : A Princess For A Prince

As soon as Rashid left me with one of his guards, he was swallowed up by the crowd.

I frowned, feeling completely out of place amongst the groups of people heading into the venue and spreading out into the wide space. They formed their own smaller groups, some mingling while others roamed around following caterers and trays of food.

I looked back to my guard, whose blank stare only unnerved me.

What was I supposed to do at an event like this? I didn't know Arabic, so talking to anyone was out of the question unless they happened to know English. Plus, what would I talk about in the first place? I was barely twenty-two and was only a few years into college, while the rest of the people here were more than likely high-ranking officials or royalty.
