Damon’s POV

I sat in front of the girl. She was a teenager, surprisingly.

Blood smeared across her cheek, hair sticking to it, wrists tied tight behind her. Her legs were all twisted up under her, bound together by tight ropes.

Regardless of her battered state, she looked at me with her chin up, glaring through the mess of her hair that covered her face.

I’d seen it a thousand times. The tough act. It never lasted. Always broke sooner or later.

I slouched back in my seat across from her, my legs lazily sprawled out. My mouth tasted bitter as I grilled the spiked whip in my hands. I hadn’t used it yet, but I planned to if she didn’t start spewing everything I needed to know soon.

I let the silence between us simmer. I could hear her frantic heartbeat. She was one of the weaker witches.

The girl kept glaring at me, her eyes sharp with defiance as she screamed incoherent words through the cloth tied tightly around her mouth.

Axel approached and crouched slightly beside me. “She won’t

  • Sold to the cursed Alpha: The seer   Solution

Damon’s POVMy wolf was pacing under my skin, agitated and angry, snarling to be let out. I gripped Sabrina’s shoe tighter in my hand, her scent still fresh on the worn fabric. Jasmine. That same soft scent that always managed to calm me even when I didn’t want it to.But not tonight. Tonight, it only made my chest ache.I had sent Jules and the others to search the western trail, but I couldn’t stand still. I followed her scent deeper and deeper into the trees. Even though faint, it was still vivid in the air.I followed it, my heart pounding. The further I went, the stronger the dread grew in my gut. As I walked deeper, I sighted a cottage in the distance. It was nearly swallowed by vines, and cast by shadows. Only one window glowed faintly from the inside. I froze, my instincts flaring. I could see shadows moving through the light... two, maybe three. None of them mattered if Sabrina was in there. My chest tightened painfully. I ran so fast that I was in front of the door within s

  • Sold to the cursed Alpha: The seer   Good riddance

Author’s POVGerald banged the heavy wooden door behind him and the sound reverberated in the dark room. Rapidly tapping his cane on the marble floor, he walked farther into the room and his face flushed with anger. The room was rich and full of velvet curtains, with the smoldering stench of jasmine and a deeper fragrance, the perfume of Amaria. She was dozing lazily on a velvet couch, legs crossed, her skin as fresh as though she had just come out of a spa. She smiled slowly, teasingly upward, and lost it on seeing his face.“What now?” she heaved a sigh and laid aside the book she was reading.Gerald’s jaw clenched. “Did you not know that Sabrina is the mate of Damon? That wretched Alpha has discovered his mistress. His curse will be broken!”Amaria yawned as if he had told her it was sunshine. She arose and extended her long limbs, then slipped on a pink silk robe that did little to cover her oiled body. Moving slowly, deliberately, and calculated to aggravate, her motions were mad

  • Sold to the cursed Alpha: The seer   Leaving

Author's POVDamon’s POV“Are you sure you want to go through with it?” Ian asked, leaning forward with his elbows on his knees, a crease of worry forming between his brows.I leaned back in my chair, twirling the pen between my fingers as the sunlight filtering through the office blinds cast thin golden lines across the table. My office was quiet, too quiet, except for the faint hum of the ceiling fan.“I’m sure,” I said at last, spinning the chair slightly. “It’s better this way. I need to filter out the fake ones from the real ones now. Take out the threats before they think they can move against me.”Ian frowned. “You’re planning to announce that tonight? At Alpha Jules’s birthday celebration?”I clicked my tongue, unimpressed by his concern. “Why not? Jules should be honored. His precious little birthday bash will finally have meaning. At least people will remember it for more than cheap wine and boring speeches.”Ian chuckled, shaking his head. “You’re unbelievable.”“Am I wrong

  • Sold to the cursed Alpha: The seer   Stay

Ian's POVI woke up feeling strangely light, the heaviness from yesterday gone like a bad dream that had finally faded with the night. For a moment, I didn’t even open my eyes. I simply listened—to the quiet hum of morning, the steady rhythm of Damon’s breathing beside me, the warmth that surrounded me.When I did open them, the first thing I saw was his arm draped across my waist, his chest pressed against my back. He was still asleep, his face relaxed, his hair slightly tousled. I smiled softly. He was beautiful like this—calm, peaceful, unguarded.Guilt tugged at my chest. I’d yelled at him yesterday, said things I didn’t fully mean, all because I let my own insecurity get the better of me. Damon hadn’t deserved that.It wasn’t really about Danielle, not entirely. It was about his mate.He had one out there somewhere, chosen for him by the Moon Goddess herself. Someone destined for him in a way I wasn’t. And instead of being happy for him, all I’d felt was jealousy—deep, suffocatin

  • Sold to the cursed Alpha: The seer   Amaria is alive

Damon's POVI watched her lift the spoon with hesitant fingers and shaky hands. The first bite went in, and I could see immediately that she didn’t like it. The subtle twitch of her brows, the way she almost gagged, it hit me hard. My stomach twisted. I had cooked for her, put effort into it, and yet I had managed to make absolute nonsense.I tasted it myself. My eyes widened. God, what was I thinking? The flavors clashed, the textures were all wrong, and the seasoning… completely off. I scowled, muttering an apology. “I’m sorry,” I said, my voice tight, almost embarrassed.Sabrina laughed softly, and it melted something in me. “It’s okay,” she said, glinting her eyes and the warmth in her smile softened something in my chest. Glad to see her smile fully, I called for Nanny Tessa. She appeared instantly, with worry all over her face. “Prepare some proper soup for Sabrina,” I instructed, voice firm. “Keep it simple. Ten minutes, tops.”Nanny Tessa’s eyes widened. “Alpha, she always thr

  • Sold to the cursed Alpha: The seer   Pesky thing

Author's POV*Damon doesn’t see you as a woman.*That was the only sentence that remained with me after Anne left. I didn’t really consider her warning regarding Danielle and Urmi, after spending time in the pack, I already knew I wasn’t the only one chasing after Damon’s heart. They say you can’t advise someone in love. Now I understand why.My knuckles tapped lightly against the door but I was met with silence. Was he asleep?I pressed my ear against the door. There were sounds but it was hard to make out. I knocked again, still keeping my head against the door. The door suddenly flew open, and I lost my balance and fell into the room. I slowly lifted my gaze and froze.Smooth legs. A woman’s legs.I scrambled up, my breath caught in my throat as my eyes followed the shape of her body. She was in a nightgown, sleek, short, and leaving no room for the mind to wonder what’s underneath. One strap had slipped off her shoulder, and the swell of her chest was exposed, her nipples firm aga
