Ray marched into the living room, his face red with anger. He didn't bother to remove his coat or shoes as he confronted Rita, "Iknow you were the one who framed Mirabelle!"

Rita looked up from her book, startled by the sudden accusation. "What are you talking about, Ray?"

"Don't play dumb with me," Ray snapped. "I know you planted that evidencein Mirabelle's car to make it look like she was stealing from the company."

Rita's eyes widened in shock. "That's ridiculous," she stammered. "I would never do something like that."

Ray's voice rose with each word. "Don't lie to me, Rita! I found proof that you were the one who did it."

Rita stood up, her hands shaking. "I swear to you, Ray, I didn't do it. You have to believe me."

Ray glared at her. "I can't believe anything you say anymore, Rita. You're fired, effective immediately."
