When the villa door opened and Agatha and Delilah saw it was Damon, Delilah immediately softened her expression, acting much more delicate.

However, due to being in the late stages of her pregnancy, combined with eating and sleeping well, she had gained quite a bit of weight.

Even though she tried to look as fragile and weak as before, it was no match for how she looked before her pregnancy.

"We haven’t questioned you yet, yet you’re already questioning us!"

Delilah was startled by Damon’s tone, but Agatha wasn’t. No matter what, she was still Damon’s mother, and she didn’t believe her own son would lay a hand on her.

Agatha took a moment to size Damon up, and seeing him still wearing the apron, her anger flared.

"Look at you now! Do you even know you’re the president of the Price Corp? You’ve actually debased yourself to do servant’s work!"

"I don’t understand. What’s so special about this Hazel? How can she make you so obsessed with her, that you

Agatha looked at Damon in disbelief, staggering back two steps, almost falling. Fortunately, Delilah was quick and caught her in time. "Damon, it’s one thing for you to speak to me like that, but how can you speak to Mom like that?" At this moment, Delilah still didn’t understand the situation and thought that, in Damon’s heart, family members were the most important. "And you—you're here now, but why are you still acting like this in front of everyone? Do you need me to remind you of the situation with the child in your belly? You really think you’re carrying my child?" Damon had wanted to say this for a long time. As long as Delilah stayed at home and had the child, Damon wouldn't say anything to her. But she insisted on causing trouble, dragging Agatha into it. It wasn’t enough that she caused trouble, but she even came to Hazel’s place to do it. The Price family had tolerated these two women, but why should Hazel also be expected to tolerate them?

At the hospital, Damon anxiously handed Agatha over to the doctor, then took Delilah for an examination. During the process, he found time to call Jamal and Kin. He only relaxed when they arrived at the hospital. "Dad, you’re finally here. Mom is in your hands now. Kin, take care of Delilah. I’ve got other matters to attend to, so I’ll leave first." Before either of them could respond, Damon rushed out of the hospital, but after running a few steps, he turned around and went back to Jamal. He explained the situation with Delilah’s pregnancy to him, asking him to find a way to explain things to Agatha carefully before leaving. Earlier, he had acted impulsively, but now, he couldn’t let Agatha know the child wasn’t his—it would be too much for her to handle, given her condition. After settling everything at the hospital, Damon quickly drove to Hazel’s villa. Since he had already said everything to her today, it was best to continue and explain things to h

Before leaving, Damon had told Jamal that his visit to Hazel was highly secretive. Logically, Agatha and Delilah had been at home the whole time, so there was no way they should have known. And Damon’s visit to Hazel’s house was a spur-of-the-moment decision, not planned in advance, so there was even less reason for them to know. "I don’t know. It was Delilah who suddenly told me Damon went to Hazel’s house. I got so mad I didn’t think much about it." "Now that I think about it, there’s something off. Delilah had been with me at home the whole time. How would she know exactly where Damon went?" Jamal’s expression sharpened, a hint of the aura he had when he was the president of Price Corp in the past. "I told you before, Delilah is no simple character, but you wouldn’t believe me. Now you see, don’t you?" "From now on, keep your guard up around her. Don’t let her use you without you even realizing it. Look at how things have gotten between you and Damon

Delilah hadn’t expected Agatha to suddenly step in and angrily threw a decorative object at Agatha, hitting her on the forehead. Everyone in the room gasped, and the nurse following behind quickly approached to check the wound on Agatha’s forehead. The nurses had realized by now that being a wife from a rich family wasn’t just about carrying a child. Unlike Agatha, who had been a rich family’s wife for many years, her position was far more secure. It was better to focus on Agatha and the benefits she could secure, rather than waste time flattering Delilah, who might be kicked out of the Price family at any moment. "Ma'am, are you okay? You’re bleeding. I’ll call a nurse to help you bandage it." After saying this, the nurse hurried off, leaving one nurse behind to stay with Delilah. It was their job. Seeing the dark expression on Jamal’s face and the blood on Agatha’s forehead, Delilah instantly quieted down. She had thought these people had already

Delilah held her breath, staring directly into Jamal’s eyes, but didn’t dare say a word. Having stayed in the Price family for so long, she knew well that Jamal wasn’t as simple as he appeared on the surface. Although the outside world spoke of Jamal as gentle and refined, living with him for so long, she knew better. Jamal was the most favored child of Mark. The reason the company was handed over to Damon wasn’t because Mark disliked Jamal, but because it was Jamal’s decision. "Since Dad said so, let’s go with this arrangement. After all, it’s not Mom’s responsibility to take care of me, it should be Damon’s." "Before, I always blamed myself, thinking Damon needed to work, but I didn’t notice Mom’s health. Dad, don’t worry, if anything happens in the future, I’ll go to Damon. I won’t trouble Mom again." Seeing Delilah acting so understanding, Agatha immediately forgot how she had just angrily scolded the nurses. She was about to step forward and t

Tonya knew that this day would come sooner or later, but she hadn’t expected it to be now. She had just finished doing the last task for Delilah. Delilah had told her that after this, she would be free and no longer needed to keep an eye on the CEO. Now, she could finally work without constantly looking over her shoulder, but the CEO had caught on at this moment. Well, it was better to be kicked out by Damon and find another job than to keep living in fear here. Moreover, with her work experience at Price Corp’s, finding another job would be easier. “Mr. Price, you wanted to see me?” “You seem so calm. I’m guessing you already know why I’m calling you. So, tell me, why were you keeping an eye on me for Delilah Hasani?” Staying calm because she knew this moment would come was one thing, but now that she felt the pressure from Damon, it was a whole different matter. Tonya’s legs went weak from fear, and she almost fell to her knees before Damon.

“Mr. Price, actually, I haven’t finished what I was saying. In the investigation of Tonya, we also checked Miss Hasani’s phone, and we found other things.” Kin didn’t finish speaking but directly placed the prepared materials in front of Damon. The documents showed chat records between Delilah and others, and from the content, it seemed like it was definitely Marcus. There were also call records between her and this person. From these records, it was clear that Delilah and Marcus mostly communicated by phone calls. They probably thought this would avoid leaving evidence behind. It may have worked in the past, but now, Damon would ensure they always had Delilah’s phone under surveillance. “I thought by now, Delilah wouldn’t be stupid enough to contact Marcus again. But it seems she’s really this dumb.” The reason he hadn’t directly investigated Delilah’s phone before was because, in his mind, someone like her wouldn’t be foolish enough to make such a mis

Sully initially had important work she couldn’t postpone. If it weren’t for Hazel mentioning that Damon would be here, Sully wouldn’t have made time to come. Even now, she was still on her phone, handling work tasks. “All right, stop working. Get ready to eat,” Hazel said as she put Sully’s phone away and dragged her to the dining table. She happened to seat her directly across from Damon. Sully’s face instantly darkened. These days, just seeing Damon’s face was enough to make her nauseous. If it weren’t for Xander being away at the company’s overseas headquarters, Damon wouldn’t have had so many chances to hover around Hazel. Just wait. She had already persuaded Xander to confess his feelings to Hazel once the collaboration between Queen Corp and HX was finalized. Even if Hazel didn’t accept his confession, the partnership between their companies would ensure their friendship wouldn’t be jeopardized. “Today marks the first official meal in my newl

HX’s headquarters was in D country, so it was perfectly normal for Xander to return there for work. However, Harold’s people must know that Xander was involved in this matter. It wouldn’t be easy to keep it from him entirely."We still need to be cautious. Harold is not as simple as we think," Damon said, his worry clear, though he didn’t have a better solution.Sully had been silent, her head lowered. She knew everything about the incident between Hazel and Harold from the very beginning. She always felt that Harold didn’t seem to have bad intentions toward Hazel. If he truly wanted to know if the Shadow Vial X was on Hazel, he wouldn’t have used such a reckless approach. After all, if something went wrong, Hazel could really lose her life.Harold only had Hazel as a lead; he wouldn’t so easily abandon this clue."Have you considered that what happened to Hazel this time might not have been done by Harold?" Sully suddenly spoke up.

"I’ll find a way to bring her back to the Price residence. My Grandpa’s health isn’t good, so we have most of the medical equipment at home. If Hazel just has external injuries, treating her should be no problem."Even though this hospital was invested in by the Price Corp, Damon no longer dared to let Hazel stay here for treatment. After all, there were so many people in the hospital, and he couldn’t be sure whether they were all from the Prices."I understand. If you need anything, just call me directly. You can keep Sully close to you. She’s a girl, and she has a good relationship with Hazel. Plus, she’s quite capable," Xander said."It’s better for her to take care of Hazel while we handle the situation."Damon nodded, not planning to have Sully leave with Xander. As for Omar, there were no secrets about him, and he was a good fit to stay in the hospital for treatment.Fortunately, there were doctors loyal to the Price family in this hos

Damon didn’t believe this was a simple accident; it had to be related to Harold. Originally, he had planned to investigate the matter involving his granduncle later, but now, the urgency of finding answers had increased.Damon sat in the ambulance with Hazel, heading to the hospital while Kin stayed behind to handle things at the scene.Once everyone was rescued, the police took their statements, and the area was quickly cleared. The bloodstains were washed away with water, and aside from a few spots that hadn’t dried, the horrific scene seemed as though it had never happened. Before the results of Hazel and Omar’s surgeries were available, Damon couldn’t bring himself to inform the old master.Ever since the events with Agatha and Jamal, the old master’s health had been deteriorating. The doctors had insisted he needed to rest. The old master had already worried himself sick over the situation with Hazel’s paren

“You have one too? Where did you get it?” Mark was utterly stunned. For a moment, he thought Hazel might have some connection to his estranged brother.“There’s a secret room in my parents’ study,” Hazel explained. “When I went in once, I found it there. I was worried it might be tied to something dangerous, so I didn’t dare mention it.”As she spoke, Hazel felt a pang of guilt. These people cared so deeply about her family matters, sharing everything they knew, yet she had withheld this crucial piece of information.“I’m sorry,” she said earnestly. “I didn’t mean to keep it from you. I was just afraid that knowing about this might put people in danger.”Her parents’ tragic fate still weighed heavily on her, making her cautious about involving anyone else. Hazel gave Elias a mischievous look, her meaning clear. "How long have you been dating, and already you’re trying to deceive Sully? What would happen if you'd been together longer?"Elias wasn’t a complicated person. His thoughts were simple, and he was somewhat slow when it came to relationships. If it weren't for Sully being more proactive, the two of them might not have made any progress at all. Hearing Hazel say that, Elias panicked immediately. "Sully, it’s not like that. "No, that’s not it…" Elias tried to explain, but didn’t know how, feeling so flustered he could almost cry. "Alright, alright, I get what you
