Chapter Thirty-Four – Under A Threat

Knox reached Sean Davis’s palatial mansion on Bellagio Road, in the grand neighborhood of Bel-Air. He had been here once with his grandfather when he took over the business. Being their chief investor, Sean Davis was an influential man and helped him settle down in no time. Kendall was in Copenhagen then, and Knox could easily concentrate on the business.

This time, it was different. He had a mission to take care of. It was the most difficult mission of his life. He had been postponing it since high school, but then it wasn’t so serious. He had taken it as Kendall’s momentary crush!

Now, after a decade, it was time to address the issue. If Kendall had been true to him, he would have accepted her, but she had faltered, not once, but repeatedly. He couldn’t overlook her betrayal.
