Luca found the door to the small house ajar but not first noticing the drops of blood on the floor. He clenched his jaw and followed the directives of the gps tracker.

It led him to the back of the house where the diamond ring glowed softly, alone in the dirt. He picked it up and dusted it, then turned around and walked into the house.
