The small smile that appeared on Isabella's face was enough to light up the room. Since the first time the Monaghan's had shown me a picture of her, I had considered her a beautiful woman, but I hadn't expected her to be even more beautiful in person, as well as funny and interesting.

I took an interest in her as soon as I saw her in the arrivals area, and to my surprise, she seemed to reciprocate. The tension that surrounded us whenever we were alone was almost palpable, and yesterday, before Danny arrived, I was about to silence the voice in my conscience that screamed that getting involved with her would be a bad idea.
