Chapter 111 – Avery's style of getting information.

“Love, did you make this porridge yourself?” Anderson was trying to distract Avery from whatever she must have heard him say over the phone but Avery had already seen through him. He stared at the steaming porridge whiles Avery stared at his face keenly,

“Yes, but you haven’t answered my question.”

Anderson stiffened slightly but didn’t stop the pretense. “What question? This looks delicious,” he picked up the spoon, scooped the porridge, and blew over it a little before emptying it elegantly in his mouth and nodding his head in appreciation. It was perfectly done. Avery’s eyes were on his every move and she shook her head rhythmically,

“Get what done? Who were you talking to anyway?” She sat beside him on the bed and asked. Anderson ate slowly whiles he responded,

“I was talking to Martin concerning a few things in the office.”
