Chapter 140 – A new business

A week passed. Ace would drop Rebecca at school and wait till her lectures were over. Then he would take her to the hotel. The detective sent the information he was looking for and it was confirmed that Rose was still alive and everything had been set up. Carlos had eyes on Rebecca’s family’s wealth and was also obsessed with her beauty.

Ace ordered Carlos’s sister to be brought from wherever she was, which took two days since she was vacationing in Hawaii. The detective suggested that he’d be around when the questioning was done and also suggested that Rebecca returns to the apartment to help them to arrest Carlos.
