Mystique's eyes drenched at the contiguity of her little one, the life she and Damien bred. Mystique gripped Bell's hand tightly. "It's Cute," Bell remarked, gazing zealously at the machine from where she was standing beside the bed, holding unto Mystique's hand. "Your pregnancy is thriving greasy as long as you stay cautious and strain" The doctor informed. "I was expecting to see your husband today as he normally comes for your check-ups, he didn't come?" She pointed out. Mystique tardily sank her gaze dolorously before answering. "He couldn't make it" "Oh, that's too bad but he could be present to know the sex of the baby. Am sure he wouldn't miss that" The doctor passed as she put away the scanner and Mystique sat upright, straightened her shirt.

Nabbing a cigarette from her pants, Harriet ignited it up and stuck it between her lips as she took a long drag before releasing a cloud of smoke into thin air from where she was lounging at the dining area in Damien's condo, convoying the other lady squatting on one of the couches, motionlessly. Traipsing out from the bedroom, Mystique beamed as the aroma of a palatable meal broke through her nostril, making her empty stomach grumble loudly. For a moment she thought Damien was back but when she came out with a hand over her tummy supportively, a reality hammered her slavishly, seeing the guys tucking in at the dining area. Mystique's smile dropped, replaced with a snoot as she thought of how none of them bugged to wake her up for breakfast. She was the pregnant one, not them. Seeing that her presence was not acknowledged yet, Mystique cleared her throat loudly and successfully earned everyone's attention. Harriet, with a tossed bread halfway to her mouth, shut her eyes and let out a rue, seeing her nightmare early in the morning. Mystique raised an eyebrow. "What's that supposed to mean, Harriet?" she sported a glare towards the other.

With each word she pored out, her hands only tautened on the piece of the file, bearing consequential information she had missed. Processing each word, her brown eyes without warmth darkened and her breathing fastened as her chest rose up and down. If this had been a cartoon series, irritating smoke would be raging from her ears, and fire would be catching from her eyes...if that was possible. Unable to bear it any longer, she chucked the piece of file on the table, thudding it loudly in an apoplectic state. Releasing a heavy breath, she rested her back on the office chair, a hand to her temple as she tried to massage down a headache. She was growing too old for this...! Where did that piece of shit come from...?
