"Cathlyn, did you know what Kate did?"
I asked her as we sat down at the table by the kitchen. She had been pleading for forgiveness ever since I woke up from my sleep. She was fiddling with her fingers on the table as I asked her.
"Yes. The thing is, I first learned the truth from the hospital."
"How?" I was hurt, she already knew and she just let it subside like it was nothing. But apart from this rage, I wanted to understand, why?
"The reason why you were in the flat line was because Kate injected something in your IV Fluid."
