My eyes flung open when I heard Kate yelped. Zach was still standing by the door and he was just staring the two.
Zach looked at his chest then looked at Kate with a smirk on his lips and with a glint on his eyes. What? The bullet did nothing and it's like the gun was never fired at all. My large gaze laid on Zach who was wearing such a frightening expression by the door, sneering at Kate.
"You have to do better than that, Kate!"
Zach laughed manically and his voice was deeper than before, making even me, frightened of his mocking tone. Zach… What are you Zach…? He was cackling and I was just staring at him as Kate continuously fire the gun, trembling and shaking for what they are witnessing. Simon was just frozen behind Kate and I felt the same as my eyes never left my best friend who was slowly turning into a monster that I’ve never known before.
