Stigma
Stigma
Author: Leafy

Prologue

If you're wondering how the true response is, I'll be the one to answer. You may lose your sight, but your gaze is beautiful, and your eyes is both lovely and shady. You may have lost your dignity, but you are the purest and highest form of holiness to me.

If the mind is the only distinction between people and animals, I will win. All of my plans and logical thinking are in place. My middle name has always been manipulative. I'm going to do everything I can to keep my desires.

But if the heart is the only thing that separates humans from trash, I'm out. I don't have the same kind of heart as you, Lavina. Isn't it true that killers aren't supposed to have hearts? Meeting you, on the other hand, prompted my heart to begin loving.

My eyes may be able to stare as if they can split the ocean, but I'm lost in the depths of your gorgeous moon-splitting eyes. Maybe my body has never been touched by bitches, but I'm just a jerk who lost because the beautiful smile on your lips excited me.

If you have a question concerning a disability, the answer is me, not you. Your perfection doesn’t suffer as a result of your blindness. It was me who could see myself deteriorating into a pathetic and miserable creature. Maybe I appear to be happy while you appear to be unhappy, but the Lord of the Universe is a master manipulator of fate, right?

When we eventually meet, I'm at my darkest and you're at your worst. Someone once stated, "The bad will get the bad." On the one hand, I agree with it, but on the other, I disagree. You are, in my opinion, the most attractive. You are the only one who can move my heart simply by looking into your eyes. This time, though, I chose to save you by lowering the rifle on the enemy I had to assassinate. I’m not going to kill you.

It's not for no cause. I'm jealous of you. Despite the fact that we are imprisoned by a terrible stigma, I have discovered how beautiful you are and have discovered myself who will be happy with you. I want to be perfect. So, Lavina, are you willing to share your answers and teach me about the meaning of perfection?

I’m Raveen, on the bars of stigma.

***

Raveen's heart was captured by a girl's caramel eyes. Raveen had never seen such clear and limpid eyes before, despite the fact that she was there holding back tears. The girl's body was shaking fiercely when he found her, but the lips, which were neither thin nor thick, were enough to make Raveen glup. It wasn't lips, but a honey lake—looked so sweet. Was it okay if he kiss it a little?

He didn't seem to mind the blood on her body or the girl's ripped clothes. Raveen can see through any flaw in her attractiveness. There was no blemish to disguise her beauty. It was too gorgeous. Wasn't that girl on Raveen's list of persons he needed to get rid of? His job, after all, was to eliminate the Dawsons. When meeting the final member of the family, though, there was a tickling of curiosity.

He didn't care about the blood on her body or the girl's ripped clothes. Raveen can see through any flaw and see her true beauty. There wasn't a blemish to hide her beauty. That was far too lovely. Was that girl really on Raveen's list of people who needed to get rid of? His mission, after all, was to destroy the Dawsons. When meeting this last member of the family, however, there was something intriguing about her.

After a while, Raveen decided to keep her firearm, aiming its contents at the man who was now lying on the ground covered in blood. He put it in his pocket and walked over to the girl who was stumbling around on the bed.

Kriet. The sound of the bed creaking as Raveen sat on it, made the girl shuffled back, reaching for anything to cover her partially exposed body.

Raven frowned. Without saying anything, he was keeping a close eye on things. A question popped into his mind as he tilted his head slightly. “Where is the girl looking?” Raveen was clearly in front of her, but she didn't look at him. Can't see? Finally, the man moved his ladder in front of the tiny face. Waving to confirm an answer to his question.

There was no reaction.

Raveen wasn't a moron. He was well aware that she was blind. Woulnd't it preferable if Raveen put an end to this girl's life right now? Raveen would give that gorgeous girl a swift and painless death. At the very least, her death would be a gift to the already-tainted girl, right? Wasn't it true that she was been raped by the mashers in the room? Maybe, would be better for Raveen to make another ‘blemish’ on her honor before killing her? Oh, what a destitute young lady with no future.

However, the reality was completely different. Raveen didn’t put an end to it. It didn't go as he planned. He also abandons his intention to fuck Lavina as a bastard. Raveen wanted to insult her, but his lips are actually saying something else. “Are you Lavina?” he asked.

Of course the question was just gibberish. The assassin couldn't possible be unaware of the target he had to assassinate, right? Raveen already knew everything there was to know about the girl cringing in fear in front of him. He only wanted to see how she would react to Raveen, so he asked.

The girl was simply taken aback. She about-to-open lips seemed to be shivering. She looked like to say something, but she swallowed it again with her lips clenched labium. Lavina, the young lady, preferred to remain silent. Her vitality had vanished. Couldn’t do anything. It was accepted that she would die in this state in the end. After all, if she still dare to dream to live like any other normal girl, it would feels shameless.

Raveen kept silent as well, patiently waiting for the girl's response, despite the fact that she knew Lavina wouldn’t react to his question. It was merely that being silent and staring Lavina in the eyes made Raveen swish even faster. In her shady eyes, the tears that were lodged in the corners of her eyes created another mirage. It was really bautiful and calming. Was it really necessary for Raveen to kill a pearl like her?

Raveen had sunk further and further. Another strong tendency was to dominate. Wasn't it irrelevant if he managed to elude his target this time? After all, she was blind. Raveen would be impossible to defeat. Even if she didn't fight, it seemed like that this girl definitely needed help just to walk, right? As a result, he believed Lavina wouldn’t be a threat even if she was still alive.

However, it didn’t mean completely free of dangers. Dawson was clearly the target of his father's orders. He had no choice except to slaughter all of Dawson's progeny. Surprisingly, the blind girl from Dawson's last line made Raveen vulnerable.

However, Raveen wasn’t one to give up quickly. He was smitten by Lavina after seeing her. Raveen, after all, wanted to bind her and claimed this girl as his own. Lavina's status will alter, and he will have complete control over her. If that was the case, no one should be able to accuse him of failing to eliminate Dawson's final descendent, right?

"Lavina, don't be afraid. I'm going to save you.”

And so, Raveen's mission had been a complete failure.
