"Everything happens for a reason "
Happy reading.....
“Sirish do something as soon as possible because my mom is so adamant to throw me in the hell any second.", I said weakly.
“Here is the only option Mihra, you have to go directly to him and tell him that you are not interested in this marriage. You will tell him , you love someone."
“Will he leave me ?”, I asked him doubtfully.
“Of course he must be Mihra because no man wants to share his life with a girl who is in love with another man. At least not him because as per your words he seems a good man, on top of that he is a village guy so he will understand you and respect your decision.", he sounded so confident.
“Oh it’s so simple. Tomorrow I will go to his village and confront my decision.", I spoke feeling a little bit relax.
“That’s a good Idea baby." , he sang.
“I will talk to you tomorrow. Love you”, I said blowing a kiss on my phone though he couldn’t see me.
“Love you too baby. Come fast we have our internship remember and the list is on the way "
“Hm bye "
After I thought so much about his idea and how to get rid of this marriage. Seriously I never imagined my life would be a comedy circus one day. Even though I didn’t like the idea of visiting him but I had no option in my hand. I had to go that shitty place and convince him to break this stupid marriage.I heard door knocking sound and I knew it’s mom.
“Mihra come have dinner, you haven’t eaten anything after breakfast.", Mom shouted.
“Just leave me alone mom, my appetite is gone now and thanks to you.", I replied back snuggling my head into pillow.
“Please Mihra don’t act like a stubborn kid , I am doing all this for your future “,she chanted.
“Future ?? What is my future mom? To marry that village man. Instead I prefer death happily than staying with him.", I groaned.
“Sweety don’t talk like that you don’t know anything about him, how can you disrespect him. The village is on earth only, not from some other planet. He is not Alien, you are talking about him like that. So stop cussing him or you would regret it later I am telling you.", mom lectured me as usual.
Regret my foot !
“Mom, tomorrow I have to go on a field trip for three days, so please leave me I need to sleep "
“Okay we will discuss about this matter when you come back from the trip. I placed your debit card in the lower cabinet take it, may be you need it. Good night sweety."
“Mommm", I singsong.
“Yes sweety ?”
“What’s the village name ? "
“Why ?? ..do you want to know about Abhiman ?”, she sounded so excited.
“Don’t exaggerate mom, I just want to know my native place that’s it "
“It’s East Godavari district Andhra Pradesh "
“What the hell it’s South India ??”, I sat up with a jerk.
“Yeah sweety I am south Indian and your dad North Indian but we had to shift here in Mumbai on your dad’s business purpose."
Arghhh !
“Just kill me mom ..kill me ", I hit my forehead angrily.
“Everything happens for a reason sweety. Good night "
Yes the reason is my destruction !
“Good night mom.", I muttered under my breath heavily annoyed and closed my eyes trying to sleep. But again and again that Abhiman name popping up in my brain making me cuss.Abhiman I am coming !
But the name is sounding sexy -my evil brain whispered.
Urghh Mihra shut up and sleep !Next Morning
Mom packed my bag with proper clothes and things which I need on trip. But she didn’t know that I was going to meet Abhiman not a field trip. If I say the truth, she will alert him or manipulate for marriage and I don’t want to happen that.
Atleast not in this life I am gonna marry him !
“Bye mom, I will miss you.", I said hugging her and she kissed my forehead.
“Careful okay, don’t go around waterfalls you have hydrophobia. Just watch it from a distance and keep yourself away from that Sirish. I don’t trust him "
But I do !
“Okay bye." , I kissed her cheek and waved my hand.
Present, I was in flight looking outside of the windo, emerging in my thoughts. In just a few minutes the plane will land in Rajamundry. Urgh even the thought disgusting me, I never imagined in my life that I would go to a village and that too talk with a village man.
It’s landing time and I throw my bag to my shoulder while adjusting my scarf. What would I d, I was an OCD person. Every new atmosphere will cause sick to my body. After I took bus to Konaseema. The buss was full on rush and I got a seat on very difficulty. I noticed some middle aged women gawking at me but I didn’t give a damn as I was exhausted by long the journey and directly settled in my seat.
After four hours journey the bus came to halt. It’s already evening now and I was tired like hell.
“Holy cow "
My mouth fell open at the sight as I stepped out of bus shockingly. Oh god was this village or animal farm. There was a lot of different kind of animals roaming and running on the road. Even the road was not fixed properly, it’s almost look like a chain of puddles.
My nose instantly scrunched up feeling nausea, the smell was so hard that it had me in a heavy sneezing. Though I was wearing a scarf it couldn’t help. My nose was so sensitive that It can’t stand at hard smells. Oh god I shouldn’t have come here in the first place. Mihra where were you stuck baby.
I clamped my mouth ,nose over my scarf and moved forward. Mom said that Abhiman was pretty famous in this village so everyone must be know him. Immediately I should find him and clear this matter as quickly as possible. Urgh I can’t waste one more second here. I moved aside so far from them keeping my body to a particular side.
I was walking and walking as I didn’t find anyone near my sight. I could see only green and drought lands, may be because of I was in still village outskirts. My legs were aching by the continuous one hour walk.
Great Mihra, have fun !
But what I realised was there was no hustle and bustle of city life. It’s peaceful, calm, quite and full of greenery where one can breathe fresh air. Somehow it had me sane diverting my brain from the nausea.
The mud road was narrow covered with green fields on either side of it. It was just going and going without knowing destination. I had no Idea where it was leading me as I was just following it calmly. Then my eyes caught a glimpse of a man finally who was hunching over green crops. His back was visible only, he was looking young because of his blue jeans and light blue T-shirt.
By the way Blue is my favourite !
Impressive village guys are wearing jeans not bad !
“Excuse me, can you please help me with the address.”, I called him maintaining a good distance. Don’t know how many germs he was carrying on his body.
But he didn’t respond ,out of nowhere I saw a dirty big buffalo directly running into me. My eyes widened and feet trembled in horror."Oh no Sherlock …”, I shouted on the top of my lungs watching the black creature coming close to me, very close to me with every passing second.
"We knotted in a holy bond together forever" Happy reading… The day before Mihra's birthday. Time is night 8 PM Mihra Kapoor p.o.v Feeling jittery all over Heart was on marathon Palms getting sweaty Feet trembling on the floor Because I AM GETTING MARRIED "Aww you look so pretty in this red silk saree", Nisha gushed as she knelt down before me, arranging the layers neatly one by one. Finally I am going to marry the man I destined, the man I wanted and the man I loved. I looked at myself in the mirror and wondered was she really me? My cheeks, hands and total body were glowing like a bright moon. "I completely look like a south indian bride. Don't I?", I mumbled under my lips, feeling astonished. The silk saree and traditional jewelry was so heavy that my knees almost buckled under their weight. But it all felt worth it as I stared at my reflection in the mirror. "Yes, this is our beautiful Mihra, see the color of love is clearly evident on your face", she said, poking
"I need holy water now" Happy reading.... "Abhi can't we walk? I want to enjoy the beauty of this village", I asked him with a pout on my lips. On cue Abhiman looked up at the sky to see if there's any chance of rain anytime soon and then gazed back at me. I know it's cloudy but I want to walk through the green fields. "Abhiman don't worry there is a car already ready for you at the temple. Your uncle had an idea about the weather so he arranged it beforehand.", Hari aunty said, solving our problem without even uttering. "What if we get drenched in the middle of our journey?", he asked me. "Oh right I forgot about it", I said looking down sadly. "I have a solution for it also.", Mom said, this time making me look at her, surprised. "What?" "Yes Mihra, I have already told Hari to pack spare clothes for you both so you can change if necessary when you reach the temple.", she smiled at me. I gave happy hugs to both of them ,"Thank you so much lovely ladies" "I think we should g
"My poor heart pouted at his cuteness" Happy reading.... Mihra's p.o.v I wore a blouse and a skirt. After I slipped my feet in five inch heels as mom advised me to wear footwear before wearing the skirt. So as to get its height adjusted accordingly. "Always make sure that the skirt almost skims the ground and be careful when you walk.", mom said while taking the end of the drape. It's a 4m of drape, she wrapped it around me creating a pallu/drape sort of fall on my left shoulder. She took the end of the drape and took one corner, tucked it in on the waist on the right-hand side so that its other corner formed this lovely V sort of form across my left hip. I was trying to memorize the process so I could wear it on myself next time. "If you tuck it at the center of your waist in front, then this V-shape will be formed perfectly behind." "Mom, it's difficult to get it but I will try to remember", I smiled watching her. "Next take the rest of the length and bring it round from th
"I don't know what would I be if you were not there with me" Happy reading... I laid wide awake in the wee hours of morning. My head placed on Abhiman's chest comfortably as I was listening to the rhythmic sound of his heartbeat and steady breath. It was soothing and calming. My hands wrapped around his rock torso and my legs tangled with his. I was pressed against his side by his one hand draped on my waist possessively. My lips curved up as my eyes peered at him observing him keenly. His right hand was folded under his head and hair was falling on his forehead messily. His long eyelashes kissing his white cheeks and lips were slightly parted giving the view of his reddish tongue. His breath was deep and warm. I quickly prayed in my heart to wake up like this everyday in his embrace. He looked so serene and angel. My solace and tranquility. The image just etched in my memory and it won't fade away until my last breath. My eyes noticed a red mark on his right shoulder and I blus
"Trust me love" Happy reading.... "Remove your bathrobe and lay on your stomach" "What? Are you serious?", I asked him incredulously as my eyes noticed a tray placed on the bed which had a heating pad and an oil bowl. "Yes, I am a hundred percent serious. Now close your mouth and do as I said.",he said sitting on the bed. My hands instantly reached my chest shielding and my saucer eyes stared at him in disbelief. "No! I don't need anything, I will be fine by tomorrow.", I said in horror, hugging myself. No way, am I going to naked before him. Oh really Mihra! Then what about your wild thoughts? How on earth would he make love to you without undressing you? - subconscious smack. I didn't know, at first I had found our make out sessions hot but imagining me naked lying before him making me restless and my heart would explode in tension - I replied. "Are you zoned out again?", he snapped his finger in front of my face, breaking my conversation subconsciously. I looked at him
"Don't talk to me" Happy reading.... Our car and Varun's car stopped one by one at the Stadium. As soon as we stepped out camera flashes welcomed us instantly. I shut my eyes and brought my wallet to cover my face immediately as the brightness was too much to handle. I had never been exposed to media and tv. Though I was always fascinated by this kind of attention, in reality it's difficult to handle. It needed confidence and courage. Because I don't like to be the centre of attraction which draws unnecessary attention towards me. "Mihra don't be scared, I am here with you. Just keep your head high and keep your posture calm when you face the camera.", Abhi said sweetly while grasping my hand in his. I nodded at him undertaking his words. The previous nervousness was gone now. "I am with you", he assured me again and I felt all fuzzy inside. His other hand placed on my lower back protectively as he guided me inside through the crowd while smiling at flashing cameras. "Abhiman
