Chapter Fourteen

I slowly begin wake up to something nudging me, I turn over in hopes of whatever was bugging me would get the hint and leave me alone. But when it only continues, I force my eyes open to see Asher smiling down at me.

He was in a completely different outfit to what he was last night, and this may sound weird, but he smelt clean, I knew this meant he had gotten up to shower whilst allowing me to sleep. But I also smelt a different kind of smell, I take a look down to his hands where a plate full of food sat.

“I had the kitchen prepare your breakfast early as you were unable to eat yesterday.” He smiles moving the plate that much closer to my face, but I groan turning my head to the side still tired.

“It’s too early to eat.” I say protesting him, but the smell of the food was reminding my body of the hunger it should be feeling, but I manage to shake that off and focus on falling back to sleep.
