Do you know the story of Icarus that flew too close to the sun and fell from the sky? Yeah, I could liken that story to that of Zuomin. It is good to be ambitious, and keep your head up, and your shoulders high. But, sometimes ambition and too much the hubris, and pride, leads to a catastrophic downfall, especially in these streets. He was brought to the united kingdom when he was young, and he was taken in by uncle Jack, a red pole in the triad. Jack brought him up and he gradually climbed through the ladder, betraying most of his close friends and associates, including Jack too. Jack was found dead in his mansion one day, and Zuomin was the closest thing he had to family and he was his right hand. Freedom... There is nothing as important as a man's freedom to do as he likes, eat what he wants, think what he wants, and be wherever he wants to be whenever he wants to be there. Take away a man's freedom and he is at that moment less than human. I had heard plenty of stories from incarcerated men, and I tell you that no words can describe the horrors that men and women face and commit within the walls of prisons. My heart pounded so fast that I thought it was going to explode, I had never felt so vulnerable and lost in my life. In the streets, when you return from prison, it adds to your cred, but I tell you, there isn't a single thing, not even one that is glorious about it.
