Chapter 47 - Her Doubts And Fears Are Justifiable

Ethan carried Moriah in his arms to have a shower together. They heard a knock on the door just as they finished dressing up. Wordlessly, Moriah went to open the door.

“Sorry to disturb you, lovey doveys, lunch is ready,” Cindy said, her eyes dancing with mischief.

Moriah rolled her eyes and snorted. “We’ll be there right away, ma’am.”

Cindy left while chuckling.

“Hubby, let’s go,” Moriah tugged Ethan’s arm, but Ethan didn’t move. Moriah looked at him inquisitively, “What’s up?”

“I want a kiss,” Ethan demanded, Moriah couldn’t help but chuckle.

She really can’t believe that a man as cold and aloof as an iceberg will melt one day.

She came near him and wound her arms around his slim waist. “Hubby, tell me. Did I really melt the ice?”

Ethan looked intently at her before answering her, “Yes, your warmth did it.”

Moriah’s heart breamed with immense joy and tiptoed. She pressed her lips on his and pulled herself away from him. “Come on, they’re waiting for us.”
