A Decision
Jazlyn woke up again after it was almost night. Again, the girl woke up because Gustavo gave her food.
"Is it time for dinner?" Jazlyn asked the middle-aged man who was now busy moving Jazlyn's dinner to the table.
"Please enjoy it," said Gustavo very calmly. The man intended to leave immediately when Jazlyn had her hand held.
"Looks like my cell phone has run out of power and I need to call the hospital where my mom is being treated. Can you please lend me a charger?" asked Jazlyn now seriously. The girl showed her cellphone which was now completely turned off.
Gustavo stared at the girl from head to toe with a sharp gaze.
"Wait here, I'll bring it," said Gustavo, who had now passed from the room occupied by Jazlyn just like that.
Moments after feeling safe because Gustavo had left the room, the girl now took a leisurely stride towards the window.
