Angelica’s POV

Thankfully my father nor my Uncle Bishop stood in my way of telling the witches who I truly was, and to be honest when I sat them all down and told them, it was like a weight had been lifted off my chest.

A lot of them now could see why Selena had spent so much time with me, and why she had invested all the years she had spent with my family. They all knew now that Selena played a secret role in keeping their coven safe all these years, as it was the first time in many moons that they didn’t have to worry about other species threatening them.

Also, it made them see the importance of keeping the peace that we had for the last eighteen years with my Uncle Tristan as the Prince of the vampires. None of us wanted things to go back to the way things were before he took reign, and to be honest, I didn’t even have to try and convince them to help us, as Selena’s coven could easily see the importance of what needed to be done.
