It feels great to be in charge again. I was sitting in a private room waiting for someone to bring Ki to me. I was my father’s son after all. I had made my own connections and most of the board for this hospital knew me. All it took was one phone call for the arrangement to be made so I can see her privately.

I sat gracefully sipping my coffee waiting. Most people don’t know there is a private floor in the hospital. On top of the ICU, there is the fourth floor where someone like me would be taken if I was to be in the hospital.
