“Stop-” His voice was so heavy and sharp it could pierce, “-Assuming things on your own.” I felt like something bad was going to happen. Anyone could tell he was angry just by looking, “Hazel and I got married years ago. We had our reasons for separating but now that we’re together again, I will not tolerate anyone trying to harass my wife.” He brought me closer to him, “Because you will face the consequences.” There was so much anger in his tone even though he didn’t raise his voice.
