I can’t describe the fears that swirled around in my chest when I saw those kids in front of us. Their wide open eyes were looking at us like we were the weirder beings here but then again, perhaps to them, we were the strange ones. 

Some of them were sitting in the door frames while some were standing but every single one of them had their faces in our direction. The strange thing was that if a child was sitting, the one in front of him was also sitting and just that the ones standing were also directly in front of each other.

None of them spoke, none of them moved and none of them made any attempt to do anything at all.

I glanced at Silva and he glanced back.

This was kinda sweet even though he drugged her. They were both in pain. Love is different for everyone. I'm glad he's finally telling her the truth. I think that he's not going to tell her about Emilio being their son until he's certain that they will get out of the he'll that they are in.
