Lillith had always fantasized about the last sex she had. It was very different from this. The man she had had sex with before Leon was gentle with her. He touched her like she was a piece of priceless jewelry but laying on the bed now, she felt like she was just being rammed into and once Leon was done, he pulled away from her and pulled up his trousers. Lillith closed her eyes and a tear slipped down her cheek. Was this the life she was going to live? A life of suffering in every area of her life? She had done all these just to keep her brother alive and as much as she was happy that he was alive and fine, she hated it here. When she finally opened her eyes, she found Leon standing over her. She sat up and began to put her dress in order. "Get out." And so did she. As soon as she got to her room, she fell into her bed and burst into tears. She felt a bit of bruise between her thighs so she just lay in bed, sobbing and wishing this was all a
"Doesn't she look beautiful?" Delilah said to Leon who kept staring at her. "You should warm up to her, you know? You're going to need her to be on your side for all these to happen because if you make her hate you, she will work against you," "She can't do that," Leon said firmly. "I'd kill her before she ever does," Delilah chuckled. "Everything doesn't always go as you wish, Leon. Just listen to me. You need to be nice to her. Protect her from these people. Treating her this way would bring her at her lowest point and it'd be easy for her to be manipulated by the people who don't want you ruling this pack," "But I'm already married, right? We're going to have a child soon. I consummated the marriage already," "And does that make you think they will relent? You joke, son. You joke. Just think about what I told you, okay?" Leon nodded but he was no longer listening to Delilah. His eyes were on Lillith who seemed quite confused as she navigated her way around t
Lillith watched the lady stand to her feet and walk away from her. Sighing, she leaned back against the wall. Nothing made sense. Not what she said and whatever she was experiencing. It didn't make sense. She closed her eyes and rubbed her forehead before deciding to stand to her feet and go back to her room. There was no need to be there anyway. Once she got into her room, she sat for a while and stared out of the windows, into the night skies. Somewhere, her brother was there, living and not dead and that alone made her smile. If she could keep him alive while being here, maybe she could get used to this place. She finally stood to her feet and climbed into her bed, going to sleep as soon as her head came in contact with the pillow. Leon excused himself from the men when he saw Delilah come into the hall from the other door. He stopped before her and lowered his head. "I saw her leave through that place. Is she okay?" Delilah tilted her head to the s
As soon as breakfast was over, Lillith exited the dining room. She had plans ahead of what was to come later tonight. So instead of going back to her room, she began to walk around the palace, taking note of the areas where guards were stationed. If she was going to leave without getting caught, then she had to learn everything now. People who passed by her pushed her roughly to the point that she fell to the grin and grazed her knee. Pushing herself to her feet, she cleaned herself and continued. It was only a matter of hours. In no time, she'd be gone. She began to walk towards the gardens. She stopped under her window and studied the area. There roofs she could climb down from. Besides, she was quite good at jumping down from great heights. But she had to do that discreetly as Leon's study was directly below her room's window. She stood there for a while, studying the whole place before nodding in approval and walking away. Just as she entered the palace, she
Lillith stopped in when she got to the front of a stream. She steadied her breath and fell to the floor to take some water into her mouth. She had been running for about an hour and it told on her body. In no time, she regained her strength but decided to sit there for a while. She knew she was safe and that was because she had crossed the boundary into somewhere else. She didn't know this place but something told her no one lived here. Pushing herself up to her feet, she started walking by the stream, taking note of the trees that covered the whole area and rocks. Nocturnal animals went about their duties and she heard a squirrel scurry past her before running up a tree. She was in the middle of nowhere. She stopped in the middle of the woods and began to look around. She was in a dilemma. She was safe but lost. Being lost was not as bad as being in the danger of being found by Leon's men but she has to find somewhere safe from any sort of attacker.
Lillith was awoken by the sound of voice. She tried to turn, thinking she was in her bed and the voices were coming out of her window back at Red Lily Pack. She tried to toss but felt her body was hard to move. She cracked her eyes open and realized she was held bound by a net of meshed jute ropes. She struggled and tried to free herself but it was futile. "Stay still up there!" A voice snapped. "If you're not careful, you'd cut yourself," Lillith looked down from above. Two men stood underneath the net she was in. The man who had just spoken turned back to his friend and said something to him. The other man nodded and swiftly climbed the tree. Lillith watched him in awe. She was good at climbing but this man was exceptional. How was he able to get to the top of the tree in seconds? "Brace up!" The man said and his claws jutted out. The ropes cut immediately and she fell to the ground with a thud, hitting her side and writhing in pain. Her side hur
Lilith was welcomed into a large beautiful room by several maids. Once they saw her, they smiled at her and pulled her into the room. Lucian smiled at her before leaving the room and when she turned to the maids, she smiled. The first one pulled her in. "You're welcome! When the men told us they found a beautiful woman in the woods, we didn't believe you were going to be this pretty!" As for Lillith, she was still taking things in. From this woman that pulled her, to how beautiful the room looked. She was definitely in a dream because everything looked so unreal. So so unreal. The maid pulled her into the room. The other woman sat around her. The first lady, blond and beautiful, asked. "So how did you get here?" "I got lost, I guess," She forgot that these women were Werewolves and could easily detect a lie. She saw the look in their eyes as she spoke. They didn't believe her. Sighing, she rephrased her statement. "Fine! I ran away," "Ran away?
All day, Leon was absent at the palace. He had sent another search party to look for his wife. All answers were negative. He nearly lost his shit. He did. "How the hell do I find her?!" He yelled at one of the groups he had sent in frustration. They said nothing in reply. Just looked at one another in confusion. Leon kicked a tree and walked away. He hated the fact that he had to go through this just a day after his marriage. Things seemed to be going well yesterday but now, things were back to how it was the first day. Delilah arrived with her entourage. She found Leon standing by the lake with a sullen look. Sighing, she went to meet him and placed a hand on his shoulder. He turned to her and she saw how frustrated he looked. "Leon..." "When I find her, I will kill whoever took her in and they'd regret the moment they ever took her in!" "You're still very angry, Leon. I want you to calm down and think up every possibility." "No!" He snap
