Three

Jill's POV

Shit today is the Day that Chad and his friends start school.

I jumped out of bed super excited and nervous at the same time. I was already dressed and ready to go by the time Megan finally dragged herself out of bed.

"You're dressed and ready already?" she asked as she rubbed the sleep from her eyes.

"Chad starts school today" I muttered as I checked my reflection again to make sure that my hair and makeup still looked good.

"Relax, he already likes you and he saw you at the river with no makeup and your hair in a messy bun"

"He also saw me in the forest after my run. I looked a mess then"

"Exactly, now I need to impress one of his hot mates that are also coming"

It did not take Megan long to get dressed then we went to meet Victoria out the front. As soon as she arrived Megan started talking nonstop to update her on what had happened yesterday.

"So we are having three hot guys start school today and one of them is the guy who followed us at the mall?" Victoria asked while watching me in the rearview mirror.

"Yep that pretty much sums it up" I could feel my face turning red as I answered her.

"Your life seems to be getting complicated all of a sudden"

"tell me about it" I grumbled. All I did was turn 16 and all of a sudden my life has gone from boring and normal, to what the hell is going to happen next?

As we pulled up to school we saw three very well-built boys standing against a new black range rover. All of the popular kids were standing at the school entrance. I noticed Chad and he waved at me and motioned for Victoria to pull into the carpark next to them. As soon as the car was parked Chad opened my door for me. I blushed as I climbed out.

"Morning beautiful, let me introduce you to my friends. This here is James" He pointed at a guy with black hair and his eyes were just as black. he looked scary. Megan on the other hand practically purred at him as she walked over with her hand extended.

"Well hello there Mr hot stuff" She winked

He had a small smirk on his face as he shook her hand. "Nice to meet you, sexy witch"

It looked like they would be getting along. Chad then pointed to his other friend who was the total opposite of James.

"This is Steve"

Steve just smiles and gave a quiet hi. It seemed like Chad's friends were a lot like mine.

"Want to show me to the office so that my friends and I can get our schedules?" He held out his hand to me.

I smiled as I took his hand and led him toward the school. The group of popular kids at the entrance moved to let us pass. They all seemed to have their eyes glued to where Chad and I were holding hands. It made me feel very self-conscious, but also super proud at the same time. None of the boys at school even looked at me. Now I had this God-like man holding my hand as we walked into school with Magan and Victoria following next to equally hot guys.

I led him to the office. "I guess I will see you later"

"Don't worry, I think you might see me sooner than you think"

I had no idea how to respond to that so I just smiled as Megan dragged me off to our lockers.

"oh my god," she squealed. "They are some hot as all hell guys right there. Did you notice the envious glares we got as we walked through the school door? Well, Victoria and I, no one dares glare at Jill" Megan laughed.

"I am not so sure about that anymore" I looked behind Megan and I was getting the death stare.

"Looks like trying to get the hot guys overrules the fear they have" Victoria replied while looking pale "I hope that the boys coming here do not make our lives difficult"

I had to agree with her. Maybe life would have been better if the boys had not come.

I walked to class feeling down in the dumps. I could feel the glares and everyone was whispering while pointing at me. I had never had this before. I did not know what to do. So I just walked with my head down refusing to make eye contact with anyone. As soon as I sat down Chad entered the class and walked straight over to me and sat at the empty desk next to me. As soon as he sat down the gossip started. I could not even look at Chad I just kept my head down. The next thing I knew my desk and chair were been pulled right next to Chad he then put his arm around my waist and whispered in my ear

"They are just jealous darling, don't let them get to you. They are the prey and you are the hunter remember that" he then kissed me on the top of my head.

"Thank you" I replied while smiling at him just as the teacher walked in.

"Morning class, as you will all see we have a new student in class today. Would you like to come and introduce yourself Chad?"

Chad winked at me as he walked to the front of the class. "Hi my name is Chad, I just moved here with my two brothers who I am sure you will see around. I enjoy nighttime runs with my girlfriend Jill"

Everybody then turned to look at me as Chad made his way back to his desk and put his arm back around me.

I then heard his voice in my head 'Now they don't need to wonder who I am to you. they all know'

I looked at him confused

'It's called mind linking, just think about me and think your thoughts to me.

I focused on his face and pushed the words out as he said 'Can you hear me?'

He smiled at me 'quick learner'

I smiled back and then focused on the teacher the class went by in a blur, all I could think about what how close to me Chad was and how nice his body felt next to mine, oh and the fact that he had just told the whole class that I was his girlfriend. As soon as class ended Chad offered me his hand to help me up and wrapped his arm around my waist. He was trying to make the point of me being his girlfriend.

"What class do you have next?" I asked

"English, same as you"

I stopped walking and stood in front of him. He took that as an invitation to wrap both his arms around me. "How did you manage to get 2 of the same classes as me?"

"I have all of the same classes as you darling"

"How?"

"My father made a sizable donation to the school, and because of that, they made sure that I am in all your classes. James is also in all Megan's classes and Steve is in all of Victoria's." He looked me straight in the eyes "I want to get to know you. I can't do that if I never see you"

I had no response to that, so I turned around again and carried on walking to English. Chad's arm found its way around my waist again. This time I ignored the gossip and just enjoyed the feeling of his arm around me. As soon as we got to English I walked to my usual desk and sat down. Instantly Chad was at the desk next to me and my desk was been pulled to be right next to him again.

"You do know that we can just sit next to each other, we don't have to be touching."

"But I like touching you. I have wanted to have my arm around you since I first saw you running in the forest. What's your wolf called?"

"Um Claire"

"Pretty name for a pretty wolf"

'I like him' Claire sighed in my head.

'me too' I replied

Chad was watching me while I had my little exchange with Claire " Does she like me?"

I didn't see the point in replying so I just nodded my head as the teacher had just entered the room. I loved English it was my favorite class. I could feel Chad watching me as my focus was on the class and the teacher. After the teacher gave us our reading homework we left the class.

"You like English"

I nodded "I love it, it's my favorite subject. My dream is to study it at university and maybe become a journalist and write fiction in my free time"

"What about you? What's your favorite subject? What do you want to do after high school?"

"PE of course, as for my future that's already been set for me"

I was going to ask what he meant but we had already met up with Megan, Victoria, James, and Steve.

"So James and I have decided that we are all going to the arcade after school" Megan grinned from ear to ear.

"Meg hun your smiling, you are going to ruin your reputation" I laughed

"I have just had two classes sat next to a Greek God. I am allowed to smile" she elbowed James in the ribs and he also started laughing.

Victoria and Steve were the only ones who stayed quiet taking everything in. The bell rang to let us know morning tea was over and we had to get to class. We all had PE next, me and the boys we happy. I had always been good at PE and now I knew why. Megan and Victoria hated it. As we got to class we parted ways with the boys and went to get changed.

"Ok, why do I have a super hot super smart boy in all of my classes? It's like Chad knows what we are like so found Males to match us. Steve is super smart and also loves to read and enjoys learning new facts" Victoria stopped to take a breath and looked at me waiting for me to reply.

"I don't know. he told our whole class that he enjoys nightly runs with me his girlfriend" I am as confused by all this as much as you"

"Both of you need to stop overthinking and just enjoy the moment" Megan was still grinning. She was getting worried looks from everyone as before today she had never smiled while at school. Megan grabbed mine and Victoria's hands and let us out to the field. As soon as we got there we saw a flock of popular girls around the boys. They were trying to get the boy's attention but all three of them looked, bored. As soon as they noticed us they abandoned the girls and came straight over to us. I had to stifle a laugh as I saw queen bee Carolyn looking like a kicked puppy. she had never been rejected before and now she had been rejected by three guys at the same time, and to make matters worse the boys rejected her for us the freaks. As soon as she realised that the boys were coming over to us she shot us the daggers.

"She is going to try to cause trouble" I muttered

"Let the bitch try, I will turn her into a toad" Megan laughed

"What's so funny?" Asked Chad

"Megan, saying she will cast spells that we know are just fictional"

"how do you know" huffed Megan

"Stick to the good magic, like making my hair dye stay perfect. Don't do dirty magic on dirty people, it's not worth it"

Megan pulled me into a hug just as the coach came out.

"Right class gather round. Today I have set up different tasks. These tests will test your teamwork, and mental and physical strength. I want you to form four groups of six people. When you have formed your group pick a leader and send them to me for instructions."

Since we already had a team of six we stayed as we were.

"Chad should be our leader" Advised Steve "it's in his blood"

"Fine with me, I hate leading" I grumbled

"ditto" agreed Victoria

"Well I like been bossy but not in PE" Stated Megan

"Chad is my leader" Stated James while saluting Chad

I noticed Chad glare at his friends, but I could not read what was going on. Chad then turned and went to the teacher. Carolyn was also on her way to the teacher and added some more sway to her hips trying to get Chad's attention.

"Does she even realise how desperate she looks?" I asked

"She looked like something got stuck up her arse and she is trying to wiggle it out" James laughed while looping his arm over Megan's shoulder.

We all burst in to hysterics. Our laughing caused Carolyn to look back at us, she saw James arm around Megan and frowned. She then walked straight up to Chad and wrapped her arm around him. I watched in horror. Worried that Chad would wrap his arm around her too. I held my breath till I noticed Chad's face. he had a look of absolute disgust on his face as he lifted her arm and pushed her away. He then raised his voice so everyone on the field could hear.

"Do not touch me or flirt with me you disgusting female. I belong to Jill" He then walked straight to the coach to get the instructions. Carolyn stood in place shocked. She had just been publicly rejected. She turned to look at me. I could feel the pure hated that she held for me.

"Shit girl, I think I need to do some protection magic on you tonight" Megan looked scared for me

"Come on I could rip her throat out, literally" I laughed, but it was forced. She would not come for me in a physical fight. she would make it her job to make my school life a living hell. I had never been on her radar before and now I had her full attention.
