Chapter Seven.

“This marriage never worked out well from the beginning.” That's what Jethro answered when Gemma asked him if he had ever loved her. Jethro's answer was the same as Gemma's prediction, but only when she heard these words did her heart, which had always been towards Jethro, begin to hurt.

Just like a normal day, Gemma sat alone at the dinner table, her face beautiful but showing sadness and gloom. Gemma had long ago given up the vivacity and arrogance of a rich, difficult young lady, and it was unclear whether she had become like this because she was more mature or because Jethro had changed her.

Looking at the delicious food on the table, Gemma showed no interest in them, but only barely poked her fork with no intention of eating. Since Jethro doesn't like Gemma's food even though she tried to learn to cook, all the dishes are made to Jethro's taste but Gemma forgets what she likes to eat.
