THIRD PERSON'S POV

The room had fallen into a tense quiet after Jackson’s bold declaration.

The air between them was thick, almost too heavy to breathe, as though every unspoken question had been bottled up and dropped into their laps at once.

Liam’s eyes, red and raw from sleepless nights, fixed on Jackson with a mixture of disbelief and hurt. He wasn’t angry, not in the way one imagines fists clenched and voices raised. No, this was different. His expression asked the kind of question that went deeper than betrayal: Why would you hide this from me? Why would you keep such a piece of yourself locked away?

Jackson leaned forward, reading the pain before him as if he had rehearsed this moment a hundred times in his head. His voice softened, almost breaking:

“Listen, guys. I’ll handle this. Trust me.”

That assurance was enough to twist a knife in Liam’s chest. Trust? How could Jackson speak of trust when secrets had just spilled like broken glass across the table?

Third Person's POVThe text message from Avery glowed on Liam's phone screen like a neon sign advertising his former life. His mind reeled as he read her words casual, almost normal, as if the past week hadn't shattered their world into irreparable pieces.Who could still send such ordinary messages to their partner after everything that had happened? The disconnect felt surreal, like receiving birthday wishes from someone who had just burned down your house. If Liam had gone home immediately after the scandal and apologized on his knees, maybe such a text would make sense. But this? This felt like psychological warfare disguised as normalcy. In this twisted game he found himself trapped in, Avery either wanted him to die from guilt or she was planning something far more sinister. Either way, Liam couldn't shake the memories that had changed everything about who he was.He couldn't forget the feeling of Jackson's body pressed against his, the intensity of their first night together in

LIAM SINCLAIR'S POVI felt the weight of the afternoon pressing against the apartment's windows as I paced across the apartment for what must have been the hundredth time. I can't resonate what is happening in my life. But we will be making a perfect decision for ourselves. I haven't seen Janet since two days after our encounter. It must have been a quite a time but I always call Jackson and we talked a lot. Now that we have the best decision of our life. Now that I've got to stay with the decision that I made myself. The ground sprawled beneath me, indifferent to my isolation, when Jackson's call finally broke through the suffocating silence.I picked the call instantly and it was his voice that came in first before mine."Janet found something," he said, his voice cutting straight to the point. "But she wants to tell us both at the same time."I stopped pacing, gripping the phone tighter. "Can't she just tell you and you relay it to me?""She insists it would be better if we bot

Third Person's POVThe hotel room had grown quiet except for the distant hum of traffic outside. It wasn't the perfect day by any means, but things were starting to feel more hopeful than they had in days.Jackson looked directly at Janet, his voice serious and businesslike. "Name any amount you want for your services. I'll make sure you get paid exactly what you ask for."Janet's gaze moved between Jackson and Liam, weighing her options carefully. Jackson glanced at Liam, silently asking him to add his support to the offer."Yes, absolutely. We'll pay whatever you think is fair," Liam confirmed."Okay, I'll consider it," Janet said, then her expression grew stern. "But I have to be honest with you both. If I were your sister, I probably would have killed you by now."Liam shifted uncomfortably. "The situation wasn't ideal. But Avery and I... we never loved each other romantically.""I heard that love can grow over time though," Janet replied. "Sometimes all people need is a chance to

Chapter 062: Good News or Bad NewsThird Person's POVAvery sat across from him, her hands trembling slightly as she recounted her encounter with Jackson."Jackson came at me with questions," Avery said, her voice bitter as a winter wind. "Questions he had no business knowing the answers to. But he said he knew that the pregnancy wasn't Liam's.""No... No, he didn't know anything for certain," Mr. Astor Sinclair replied, his tone carrying the forced boldness of a man trying to convince himself as much as her.Avery looked at him with eyes that had seen too much betrayal in too short a time. She let out a breath that seemed to carry the weight of her crumbling world."I know I shouldn't have panicked the way I did. But I couldn't help it," she continued. "When Viviana came to tell me Jackson was at the house this morning, my first thought was: what on earth was he doing there after betraying our family and dragging our name through the mud?"She stood up and walked to the window, looki

Third Person's POVUptown The late afternoon sun is hotter as Liam parked his silver Camry outside what had once been the Grand Vista Hotel. Now it looked more like a monument to better times that would never return. The building's faded brick showed years of neglect. Paint peeled from window frames like old skin, and several of the letters in the hotel sign had burned out long ago, leaving only "G_and _ist_ Hot_l" weakly against the sky."This place looks like it's been forgotten by the world," Liam muttered to himself as he walked toward the entrance. The lobby smelled of old carpet and dreams that had died slow deaths. Behind the reception desk sat an elderly woman with silver hair pulled back in a neat bun. Her clothes were clean but worn, and her eyes carried the weight of someone who had seen too much disappointment."Hello, mister. Please, how can I help you today?" the woman asked, her voice carrying a slight accent that suggested she had come from somewhere else many years a
