"Huh?" my surprised reaction to Jomar.

Jomar walked towards me and took the store's padlock. After that, he headed straight outside. "Aren't you coming out?" he asked me, and I quickly moved. I grabbed my bag and followed him.

This convenience store only opens in the morning because Mrs. Maricel is still busy taking care of family matters. According to Jomar, it used to be open 24/7, and Mrs. Maricel would watch over it at night or whenever he couldn't make it.

Jomar was busy closing the store. It was a good thing he arrived because I would have struggled to lower the rolling steel door of the convenience store.
