Shawn needed to get away from the villa for a few hours, to clear his mind and recover after the impact the new Isabelle had had on him. All of a sudden, after her ‘explosion’, he had the feeling of really seeing her for the first time. Isabelle, so temperamental and sarcastic was someone new to him; she was completely different from the submissive and fearful Isabelle. This side of her was very exciting but also quite confusing. That last thought written by Isabelle hurt Shawn so much that this time he threw her diary against the wall. He could no longer lie to himself and to others... he wanted her in his life, starting that moment, he wanted to keep Belle safe for the rest of her life. He wanted Belle, pregnant or not because he couldn’t see his life without her. And if he wished to have a future with her, it was necessary to confess Belle all that had happened before that damn evening. Shawn was very attentive to the conversation. He hadn't said a word, he didn't want to stop Belle's confession, but he continued to look at her, angry at all the gods in the universe because they allowed her to suffer so much. He couldn't understand what she had done wrong in her life to face that ordeal all alone. He was proud of her because she had proven to be a strong and responsible woman.
