"Kill them all" Marco commanded in the cold voice before taking the lift up to his penthouse.
He could still feel faint smell of her lingering into the penthouse although it sounded insane since it had been three months since she left. But maybe Marco was actually going insane after losing her.
Marco knew that he could have just told her the truth, removed the blue contacts and everything would be as clear as crystal And yet only he knew that he could not. There was a reason why he was Marco now and that was deadly enough not to just overthrow him and his entire non-existent family but all the mafia syndicates in the world.
The only way to keep everything under control was him being Marco. He couldn't even explain it in words the feeling he feels it is hard when she confessed that she had indeed loved him all those years and that she still did, But he also knew that she loved Dexter and he was no longer Dexter, he was Marco and there was no getting away from it.
