SONG OF THE CHAPTER: “The Kill” by Thirty Seconds to Mars

IVARA'S POV:

They’re talking about me.

I can feel it in the way the camp buzzes when I walk through, whispers curling behind me like cigarette smoke. Words dart from mouth to mouth; traitor, wolf-slut, curse. I keep my chin up, my boots crunching against the gravel, pretending their stares don’t burn like hot knives down my back.

But I know that they know.

Somebody saw me riding last night. Somebody saw him chasing me and now it’s all over both packs.

~~

Kael’s voice is waiting for me inside his cabin, sharp as a whip before the door even shuts.

“You shame me.”

I stop in the doorway. He’s at the table, maps and bottles scattered in front of him, but his eyes are pinned on me, cold and merciless.

“Good morning to you too,” I say, forcing my voice light. “Or is it afternoon? Hard to keep track when your father greets you with an execution speech instead of coffee.”

His fist slams against the wood, rattling the bo

  • THE ALPHA BIKER'S QUEEN   Chapter 15

SONG OF THE CHAPTER: “Going Under” by EvanescenceIVARA’S POV: The silence after the rogues is thicker than smoke. My chest still aches, and my throat is raw from screaming, but what gnaws me most is the way Ronan looks at me... like he’d burn down the world for me even while hating me. I don’t know what to do with that.So I don’t. I sit on the edge of my bed back at the Draven compound, knees pulled to my chest, and try to breathe. My father hasn’t come storming in yet to demand an explanation, but I know he will. Kael Draven doesn’t tolerate cracks in his empire. And last night was a crack. A big, ugly one. I replay the attack in my head, every detail scratching like broken glass. Rogues don’t usually move in packs like that. They’re messy, unorganized. But the way they came for me... it was weirdly timed, precise and waiting in the right stretch of highway? It’s too neat. Too convenient. The thought hits me like ice water.Did my father let it happen? I want to shov

  • THE ALPHA BIKER'S QUEEN   Chapter 14

SONG OF THE CHAPTER: “Monster” by SkilletIVARA’S POV: The night air is slashing across my face, cold and wild, carrying the smell of pine and asphalt. The motorcycle growls beneath me, eating the road in furious gulps, and for the first time in forever, I feel almost untethered.Except he’s there. Headlights flare in my mirrors, a constant shadow behind me, relentless as the bond thrumming in my veins. Ronan’s bike eats up the distance like a predator stalking prey. My chest is tight, not from fear but from the irritating truth that a part of me wants him to catch me. But then something weird happens. He slows down. I glance back, expecting him to surge forward, but instead he straightens, giving me the kind of nod that feels like permission. Permission? My brows furrow as the wind claws at my hair. He lifts his wrist, taps at it as though pointing at an invisible clock, and then he lets me go.Like I’m on borrowed time. What the hell does that even mean? My wolf bris

  • THE ALPHA BIKER'S QUEEN   Chapter 13

SONG OF THE CHAPTER: IVARA'S POV: The gates of the Draven compound are slamming shut behind me, and I swear the sound echoes in my skull like a final verdict. The iron bars, steel locks and wolves stationed with rifles tipped in silver ; everything about this place screams cage. I’m standing stiff, my hands curled into fists at my sides as if my nails could claw through the smug air around me. The compound is sprawling rows of cabins with blackened windows, a training yard littered with weapons, the faint metallic tang of blood clinging to the dirt. And every single Draven eye is drilling into me. They don’t see a woman, they don’t see a wolf. Unfortunately, they probably see a spy. “Don’t wander,” one snarls as I pass. His lips curl around the word wander like it’s filth. I want to laugh. Wander? Try escape artist in training. But instead, I lift my chin and let a smirk twitch at the corner of my mouth. “Don’t worry,” I say sweetly, “your hospitality is unforgettable.”

  • THE ALPHA BIKER'S QUEEN   Chapter 12

SONG OF THE CHAPTER: “Bring Me to Life” by EvanescenceIVARA'S POV: The word cursed still rings in my skull when the verdict is passed. Not by me or by Ronan. Heck, not even by the bond tearing us apart. No... it’s by them. The packs. The leaders. The fathers who made us pawns in a war they refuse to end. The judgment isn’t whispered or murmured this time. It’s spoken like law.“She goes with them.” I jerk my head up so fast my neck pops. My father’s voice echoes across the ruined stadium, sharp and unyielding. He’s not looking at me; he’s staring at Ronan’s wolves, his jaw set, his arms folded like iron. “She will live with the Dravens,” Kael says again. “If their Alpha claims her, let him control her. Let him prove this bond can be leashed.” “No.” My voice cracks. My knees are still raw from the concrete, my hands blistered from Ronan’s blood, but I push to my feet anyway. “I’m not some... some gift to be traded. I’m not property.”Kael doesn’t even look at me.

  • THE ALPHA BIKER'S QUEEN   Chapter 11

SONG OF THE CHAPTER: “Far From Heaven” by EvanescenceIVARA'S POV:Ronan is falling. One second he’s a wall of muscle and fury between me and a bullet, the next he’s collapsing, his body slamming into mine so hard it rattles my bones. The world lurches sideways. My knees hit the ground, hard, scraping against broken concrete. And then I feel it.. it's hot, sticky and searing. His blood.Silver. It gushes through my fingers as I grab him, press my hands to his side. It burns like acid against my skin, eating through my palms, but I don’t stop pressing down, don’t stop trying to keep it inside him. “No, no, no,” I rasp, shaking my head so hard my hair sticks to my sweaty face. “Stay with me, Ronan. Don’t you dare!.don’t you dare leave me like this.” His weight crushes my thighs, pins me to the floor. He’s too heavy, too solid, and for the first time since I’ve met him, he feels breakable.Around us, silence falls. The stadium, once alive with snarls and growls, weapons

  • THE ALPHA BIKER'S QUEEN   Chapter 10

SONG OF THE CHAPTER: “Snuff” by SlipknotIVARA'S POV:Neutral ground is what they call it but when I step into the stadium, all I feel is death clinging to the air like smoke. Neutral ground, my foot. The air here could choke the dead. The place is a graveyard of rotting bleachers and rusted steel. Concrete cracked under years of neglect. Graffiti crawls across the walls with wolves, skulls, and words so faded they’re ghosts. The echo of our boots bounces back at us, too loud, too sharp, like even the shadows are holding their breath. This isn’t neutral ground. This is a trap waiting to snap.See what I did there? The Dravens enter from the far side, leather and steel gleaming under the skeletal floodlights someone bothered to rig up. Their engines roar one last time before they cut them, the growl reverberating off the walls. Ronan leads them, shoulders broad, jaw clenched, eyes already locked on Kael.My father. The air between them crackles, a wire stretched too tight, one s
