CHAPTER 61

Pedro saw his child jumping off the bed. He thought something had happened to his child. Fortunately, the child seemed lively and well in Pedro's eyes.

He immediately approached Adrienne. "Is our child okay? Where should I give my blood?" the man asked.

"They have received a stock of blood compatible with the child. I was supposed to call you and tell you not to come, but it seems you're already on the plane. I'm sorry if I inconvenienced you," Adrienne said to the man, seeming somewhat embarrassed.

Pedro shook his head. "This is for the child. It's not a problem for me to come here," he said.

Pedro suddenly felt a tug on his pants. It was his child, wanting to be carried. Pedro quickly picked up his child, who seemed to resemble him more as time went by.

"Get well soon, my child. Rest well and don't give your mom a headache, okay?" Pedro said to the child while carrying him and checking if he still had a fever, which seemed to have subsided.
