"A-are they gone?" She pressed her ear against the door, hoping to hear a sound but there was not sound.
"Hmm…I guess they are gone," She heaved a sigh of relief and was about to open the door, but something cold as ice touched her arms and pulled her.
She tried screaming but a hand covered her mouth and all her scream died. She bite the palm but the person didn't budge.
"Sigh, what are you doing here, Woman?" A deep voice questioned. She felt a hot breath on her nape, tickling her a little.
"Mm?" She shouted 'who?' but it came out as a muffle. She felt the voice was very familiar but she couldn't pick point where she had heard the voice before.
A cold hand ran through her nape and something sharp pierced her neck. She tried wiggling away but failed. She felt her heart race increased as memories of what happened in the forest flashed through her mind.
'He is the one! This voice! It was from the werewolf when I blanked out,' She screamed helplessly, regretting why she had to come out from the room granted to her. She doesn't want to lose her life, her heart dropped dead, when the door leading to theirs opened slowly.
"Your highness, Should we prepare for the banquet now or continue with the game?" A voice questioned helplessly.
A game?
"Sigh, why do you have to interrupt now of all time Edwin? When I was just about to to taste a little," The man chuckled a little and released her from his grip. Amelia losed weight and fell hard on the floor, her soul lifeless.
"Ah! Your highness I think she needs medical check up now. Her heart race is lowering," Edwin said worriedly.
"There's no need for that, tell the guards to stop now and prepare for the banquet. The other clans wount stop at nothing to use this event to recruit more talents, I have to make sure our clan gets the best," The man said coldly.
Edwin nodded his head quietly and left there, locking the door in the process. Amelia slowly regained consciousness and was about to sit when the room light up.
She saw that she was in a black and white room, standing 2 feet away from her was a gorgeous man on a small towel tied around his waist. His black silky hair fell on his shoulders wet, some water trail down to his chiseled legs.
She sat flabbergasted witha flushed face that is if she lowered down a little an ungodly sight will take place. She just simply stare at his face not knowing where to look at and she regretted it immediately.
A pair of blue eyes stared at her, piercing through her soul. His thick brows, red thin lips, chiseled jawline. She gulped and stared at the strong arms and abs, he look like a Greek god in her eyes.
She stared hungrily at him, feeling that she had to touch those arms and sleep on them day and night.
"What do you want?" Her thoughts were interrupted by his cold voice. She stared back at him and saw his cold face.
"I- I nothing," She felt speachless and recalled what the man said earlier, her face flushed with anger.
"You knew I was about to escape! No, let's say you planned all these to you with me?" She frowned slightly.
The stranger simply laughed at her and turned towards the wardrobe in the room. He stood same height with the wardrobe and she wonder how he can be so tall and handsome at the same time.
"Woman, you are too fragile to survive outside. What I just did was a predicament, I truly didn't know if you would escape or not," He replied back at her with a strange accent she didn't notice before.
The man turned and removed the towel tied around his waist so suddenly that Amelia failed to close her eyes shut. Her face turned breet red as she felt like killing someone.
She quickly looked away as she curse silently. Soon, she heard the sound of footsteps but she didn't dare to open her eyes, afriad that something will appear before her eyes.
"You can open your eyes now," He said appearing like he told her to close them before.
Her eyes snapped opened and she yelled out at him angrily.
"Why didn't you tell me you were about to dress up?! Can't you see that a lady is in your room?" She said angrily.
He simply laughed at her in return and wore his robe. He sat at the mirror combing his long hair like a woman.
"Don't worry you will get us to it soon, infact you will be begging to see such a gorgeous sight repeatedly," He chuckled in response, as he didn't take her seriously.
"Ahh you!" She almost spat out a mouthful of blood but there was nothing she could do. She could only sit and wait.
"The maids will be here very soon. There's an important occasion today and I want you to be there as my mate," He said and glanced at her.
She froze, and couldn't say a word in return. Her kind was In a mess as her inner voice scream for help.
'He was the one that attacked my team!' A trace of hatred flashed through her eyes as she glared at him.
All she felt at this moment was to run as far away from here as possible. She doesn't want to have anything to do with him, not now, not never.
"Hmm? Are you alright?" He asked with a frown. He felt the change of aura from her and he could hear her heart race increased.
"I am fine, I'll take emy leave now back to my room. I do not want the maids to see me here," She got up and head towards the door. Without turning she opened the door and left, only his gaze stared at her back.
She felt like everything was lost, they onl came here to tour round the island but…it seems she was never going to return back. It has been days since her teams left this place but no rescue team has come yet. Her telephone wasn't with her and she wasn't sure if these people have any technology for communication at all.
Strangely, somehow, she felt like she was traded here just for her mates to go back safely.
"No one ever cares," She sighed heavily and locked up herself in the room. Waiting for the maids to make the preparation for the banquet.
I could feel Malakai tensing beside me, his hand hovering over his sword. But I knew that violence was not the answer. We had to think of something else, something that would allow us to keep the fruit and still come out of this alive.Suddenly, an idea came to me - a risky, dangerous idea, but one that just might work."Wait," I said, holding up my hand. "We have something else that you might be interested in."The leader raised an eyebrow, his interest piqued. "And what might that be?"I took a deep breath, then launched into my plan. It was a long shot, but it just might work.As I spoke, I could see the leader's expression changing. He was considering my proposal, weighing the risks and rewards in his mind. Finally, he nodded. "Very well. We have a deal."I let out a sigh of relief, but I knew that the hard part was yet to come. We still had to make sure that the fruit was used for good, and that the dark organization didn't turn on us the moment we left the castle. But for now, w
brighter and brighter, until it was emitting a blinding light that filled the entire cavern. The leader and his men stumbled back in surprise, shielding their eyes from the intense light. And as the light began to fade, I saw that the fruit had transformed - it was no longer a simple piece of fruit, but a shining, glowing gemstone, pulsing with an otherworldly energy. The leader, stunned and bewildered, looked at me with a mixture of fear and awe. "What have you done?" he whispered.I felt a sense of triumph surge through me. We had not only saved the fruit, but we had transformed it into something even more powerful. With this new weapon, we could defeat the dark organization once and for all.But as we made our way back to the surface, I could sense that our troubles were far from over. There were still more challenges to face, more battles to fight. And sure enough, as we emerged from the cave, we were met with a fierce army of dark organization soldiers, their weapons at the ready
As we watched the army approach, a sense of dread settled over me. We were vastly outnumbered and outmatched, and I knew that we couldn't win this fight with brute force alone."We need a plan," I said to Lilith and Amelia, trying to keep my voice steady. "We can't fight them head-on. We need to think of something else.""I have an idea," Lilith said, her eyes gleaming with a fierce determination. "But it will require all of us to work together.""I'm listening," I said, my heart racing with anticipation.Lilith explained her plan, and I could see the brilliance of it. It was risky, but if it worked, we could turn the tide of the battle in our favor."Let's do it," I said, feeling a renewed sense of hope.We executed the plan flawlessly, and for a moment, it seemed like we might actually win this fight. But then something unexpected happened - one of the enemy soldiers, a young woman with a look of terror in her eyes, suddenly broke away from the group and ran towards us."Please, you
As we lay there in each other's arms, basking in the afterglow of our lovemaking, I couldn't help but feel a sense of completeness that I had never experienced before. Amelia and I had been through so much together, and our love had only grown stronger with each passing day."I love you, Amelia," I said, tracing lazy circles on her skin with my fingertips."I love you too, Augustra," she replied, snuggling closer to me.For a while, we simply lay there in silence, content to be together. But eventually, the weight of our responsibilities began to weigh on us, and we knew that we couldn't stay in bed forever. With a sigh, Amelia sat up and began to dress. "We should get going. Lilith is waiting for us."I nodded, reluctantly getting up and dressing myself. Lilith had summoned us to her chambers, and I knew that whatever she had to say was important. As we made our way through the palace, we could feel the tension in the air. The dark organization had launched a massive attack on the ki
Lilith and I set out on our journey to find the monks, determined to find a way to restore Amelia and put an end to the darkness that had taken hold of her. As we journeyed through the mountains, Lilith told me more about her powerful friends who could potentially help us in the upcoming battle. "I have a friend who is a powerful sorceress," Lilith said. "She can manipulate the elements and has knowledge of ancient magic that could be useful in the fight against the dark organization." "That could be very helpful," I replied. "But our first priority is to restore Amelia. We need to find out if the monks know of a way to undo the dark magic that was used to resurrect her." As we approached the hidden temple where the monks resided, we were met with stern faces and cautious eyes. "Why do you seek our counsel?" asked one of the monks. "We seek a way to restore someone who was brought back to life through dark magic," I explained. "Her soul is consumed by darkness, and we need your h
One day, as I sat alone in my chambers, I heard a soft knock at the door. "Come in," I said, and the door creaked open to reveal a figure shrouded in darkness. "Who are you?" I asked, my hand reaching for my sword. The figure stepped forward into the light, revealing a face that I recognized all too well. "Amelia?" I gasped, my heart pounding in my chest. She smiled, but it was not the warm and loving smile that I remembered. It was cold and calculating, and it sent a shiver down my spine. "I've come to make you an offer," she said, her voice low and dangerous. "What kind of offer?" I asked warily. "A chance to join me," she said. "To rule beside me and unlock the power of the immortal fruit." I shook my head in disbelief. "I could never join you, Amelia. Not like this." She shrugged. "Suit yourself. But know this - I will stop at nothing to achieve my goals. And if that means destroying you and everything you hold dear, then so be it." With that, she turned and disappeared
