YARA’S POVI groaned as I slowly regained consciousness then I checked my nose first to be sure that stupid alpha Denver didn’t break it after punching me in the face since that was the last thing I could remember before passing out for the third time after running into him at the party. After making sure that it was fully okay and not broken, I opened my eyes and turned to lay on my side with more groans escaping my lips because my head hurt so bad but all I got into my system was a gush of dust that raised from the thick blanket I was laying on and I quickly sat up as I began to cough from how choking the dust was.Fuming with anger again, I wondered why the alpha would put me inside a place filled with so much dust and I looked around me to know where I was. ALPHA DENVER POV“Have this document scanned and emailed to the CEO of the new automobile company we just partnered with” I ordered my personal assistant and with a bow of her head, she stretched her hands out and took the filed documents from me. Then she walked out of the office and I was alone, about to start working on something else.Then I remembered the contract for the deal between me and Yara that I was supposed to have drafted and written up so we would both sign on it when I returned to the palace and with a sigh, I dropped the file I was about to work on and turned to my computer. YARA’S POVI had to make Alpha Denver pay for punching me in the face again and then dumping me in such a dusty room. I also had to get back at him for locking me up to make me get as pissed as I could, just because he believed I couldn’t do anything even if I wanted to. I had to let him know that I could do whatever I wanted even though we had struck a deal with each other because no one ever got me angry and got away with it. I would never let them go scot-free because I believed in revenge and even though it wasn’t very satisfying all the time, I still stuck to it because it was the best way to make the person who wronged me feel as much pain or anger as I did when they wronged me.Then of all people, it had to be the man who killed my sisters and burnt down my kingdom that was once my only home. YARA’S POVI walked straight into my room right after I left the alpha’s room. Then I locked the door, leaving the key in the keyhole before I placed my own copy of the signed contract on the table I just cleaned up along with the rest of the room, before I made my way to the bed, and laid on my back to stare at the ceiling that had beautiful paintings and illustrations on them.I couldn’t help but think questioningly, about who must have been in this room as its occupant before I was forced by Alpha Denver to stay in it and I also wondered why it was so dusty even when it was filled with the pretty things inside. I felt it was supposed to be cleaned regularly.It was obvious that the room must have belonged to a very important person from how exotic it appeared to be. But judging from what happened earlier with the maid that was assigned to me by alpha Denver, no matter how discreet I tried to be with her to get her to answer my questions, I knew she wasn’t going to say anything. YARA’S POVWith the guards still leading me, we finally arrived at the dining room and they stopped at the door while I walked inside. Alpha Denver was seated at the end of the table with his dinner before him and I sent him a glare as he looked at me the same way.I watched as his eyes roamed over me, accessing the pair of sweatpants and oversized t-shirt that I wore and I saw him turn his lips down, clear distaste in his eyes while shaking his head before he began to eat. At that moment, I knew that I had had it with him. He couldn’t look at me like that. Like I was a lowlife and then make such a face. He had to know that I wasn’t a person that would let anyone look down on me like that and get away with it and he was among them.So I took long angry strides towards him and I stopped when I got to where he sat. YARA’S POVHe kept on pulling me by my arm and I struggled with him to let go but he didn't budge. So I dug my nails into his flesh hard and I heard him wince before he stopped walking. Then he turned around to glare at me and I met his eyes the same way while we both heaved hard.His eyes moved to the spot where I dug my nails and two red bloodied dots graced the skin on his arm. His eyes stayed there for a while before he slowly looked back at me and growled. Shit! He seemed really angry but I didn't let that didn't scare me, I wanted to see him do his worst and I was going to walk away from this pack right after that. YARA’S POVI got to my room as fast as I could then I quickly rushed in before he would catch up with me in case he had recovered from my hit already.I locked the door and made sure to leave the key in the keyhole so no one would be able to open it from the other side.I got back at Alpha Denver and I felt really good about it but it was obvious that he could melt metal with how pissed he was at me at the moment. If it was possible to shoot daggers at someone with your eyes, then he would have shot a million daggers at me when he glared at me so hard.It looked like his head would explode with how hard he was holding his anger back. So it was going to be best for me if I kept my door locked throughout the night with the key inside the keyhole so he wouldn’t be able to come in just in case he had a spare key which I was certain he did.He wasn’t going to be able to break the door down too because he had lost his powers.
