Chapter Thirty

Jacob's Pov

I banged my fist on the table as Kratis hung up, I never thought my nightmares would be a reality, I ran my fingers through my hair and grunted, it was good Eva had gone outside else she would be worried about me, I thought Kratis was dead and was more grateful when I heard Tyler had banished him from the pack, our history together made me wish him bad things.

It wasn't my fault he had a hold on me, it was absolutely the moon goddess fault, she mated to someone I hated with my entire life, worse; my mate rejected me and though it was privately and almost no one knew; Kratis was there.

Her excuse was that she was in love with someone else and would rather remain lonely for the rest of life than not get married to him, turns out it was Kratis she was madly in love with, I had no issues with that because I had equally fallen madly in love with Eva as at that time, the rejection was painful but I soon got over it, to make things worse; Kratis never liked my mate
