The night was dark and quiet as Elara and Damon stood on the pack house balcony, looking out at the forest. The full moon hung low in the sky, casting a silver glow over the territory.

"Do you think the Moon Goddess was telling the truth?" Damon asked.

Elara nodded. "Yes. She has never lied to me before."

"Then we need to be prepared," Damon said.

Elara agreed. "We should increase patrols, train the pack harder, and keep an eye out for any unusual activity."

Damon nodded. "I will speak to the border patrol tomorrow."

Just then, they heard a howl in the distance. It was a warning howl, signaling danger.

"What is it?" Elara asked.

Damon's eyes narrowed. "It sounds like a pack member is in trouble."

They ran into the forest, following the howl. They found a young werewolf lying on the ground, his leg broken.

"What happened?" Damon asked.

"I was patrolling the border when I was attacked," the werewolf said. "It was a creature I have never seen before. It was tall, with black fur and red eyes."

Elara's heart raced. This sounded like the new threat the Moon Goddess had warned her about.

"Can you describe it more?" she asked.

"It was faster than any werewolf I have ever seen," the werewolf said. "It attacked me before I could even react."

Damon looked at Elara. "This is not good."

Elara nodded. "We need to find out what this creature is and where it came from."

The next day, Elara and Damon gathered the pack members for a meeting. They told them about the new threat and instructed them to be vigilant.

"We need to increase patrols," Damon said. "Every pack member should be on high alert."

Elara added, "If you see anything unusual, report it immediately."

After the meeting, Elara and Damon went to see Selene. They told her about the attack and the creature the young werewolf had described.

"This is the new threat the Moon Goddess warned you about," Selene said.

"What is it?" Elara asked.

"A Shadow Wolf," Selene said. "A creature created by the Nightmare before it was sealed away."

Elara's eyes widened. "The Nightmare created it?"

Selene nodded. "Yes. The Shadow Wolves are the Nightmare's minions. They are fast, strong, and nearly indestructible."

"How do we stop them?" Damon asked.

"You need to find their lair and destroy it," Selene said. "But be careful—they are not alone."

Elara and Damon looked at each other. They knew they had to find the Shadow Wolves' lair and destroy it before more pack members were hurt.

That night, Elara and Damon led a group of pack members into the forest, searching for the Shadow Wolves' lair. They followed the scent of the creature that had attacked the young werewolf.

After hours of searching, they found a cave deep in the forest. The air around the cave was thick with darkness, and they could feel a sense of evil emanating from it.

"This must be their lair," Damon said.

Elara nodded. "Let us go in."

They entered the cave, their weapons drawn. The cave was dark and damp, with walls covered in strange symbols.

As they walked deeper into the cave, they heard growling. Suddenly, a group of Shadow Wolves emerged from the darkness, their red eyes glowing.

"There they are," Damon said.

The Shadow Wolves attacked, their movements fast and aggressive. Elara and Damon fought back, their powers surging.

Elara used her healing powers to heal the pack members who were injured, while Damon used his strength to fight the Shadow Wolves.

The battle was fierce, but Elara and Damon were stronger. They managed to defeat the Shadow Wolves, but not before several pack members were injured.

"We need to destroy this lair," Elara said.

Damon nodded. He used his fire power to set the cave on fire, destroying the Shadow Wolves' lair.

As they left the cave, Elara felt a sense of relief. They had destroyed the Shadow Wolves' lair, but she knew this was not the end. The Nightmare had created more Shadow Wolves, and they would have to find and destroy them all.

"We need to be vigilant," she said.

Damon nodded. "We will be."

As they walked back to the pack house, Elara knew that the new threat was real. The Shadow Wolves were dangerous, and they would stop at nothing to destroy the pack.

But she was not afraid. She was the Chosen One, and she had Damon by her side. Together, they would protect the pack and defeat the new threat.
