NIGHT FANGS PACK

LUMA

My sister ruined my life twice.

First, she stole the battle plans and ran off with another wolf.

Second? She left me behind to pay for it.

Now I'm mated to a man who hates my face because it looks just like hers. Trapped in his pack. Watched every time I breathe.

I stared at the blank walls of my room.

Six months. Six months I'd been trapped in this pack. No entry. No exit. Watched even when I went to the bathroom.

The only time I was left alone, I regretted it.

My mate by alliance, not by choice had demanded I attend a business meeting. He drank so much that I ended up nursing him. His scent clouded my judgment. That night, I lost my virginity. I thought maybe, just maybe, he'd stop hating me. After all we had shared something.

But no.

When he woke me the next morning, it was with curses.

"You're cunning and vicious, just like your sister. You saw an opportunity and took it, didn't you?"

I didn't understand. I kept shaking my head, trying to make him see. But he wouldn't listen. He kept cursing. My pack. My tribe. My family. And most of all, my cunning sister.

How did I end up here?

It wasn't a mistake. It was all my sister's doing. And I was paying for it every single day.

His sister. His brothers. His Beta. His warriors. His entire pack manifested their hatred daily. Omegas spit in my food. Guards sneered when I passed. I was a ghost they all wished would disappear.

Oh, Goddess. How did I end here?

I-Luma Emberheart daughter of the Alpha of the Ravenclaw Pack, never expected to end up like this.

But my sister, Ina Emberheart, had other plans.

*****

A year ago my life was peaceful. I was preparing to join the wolf academy.

Ina discovered she had a mate. The powerful Alpha Tristan Whispering Wood of the Night Fangs Clan.

We were all enthusiastic. We prepared for the mating ceremony. My parents gathered mating gifts. The entire pack buzzed with excitement.

But Ina had other plans.

On the marking day, she escaped. Not only with the Night Fangs' strategic battle plans but with another wolf as well. Unknown. Unidentified. Gone.

Just like that, she vanished. Leaving our family in chaos.

Alpha Tristan was furious. With no proof, he invaded our lands. Destroyed hectares of crops. Killed several of our shielders.

My pack was the smallest. We couldn't fight back.

So my father submitted. Fell to his knees. Begged. Without hesitation, he offered me as an alliance mate.

I was shattered. I never imagined such a day would come. But I had to save my pack. My family. So I agreed. Hoping to appease the Alpha. Hoping to solve the impossible.

But Alpha Tristan wasn't that easy. His reputation ruthless, heartless preceded him.

He demanded my pack supply seven hundred Omegas. Without permission, he stationed seven hundred of his own shielders on our land. Just like that, my pack became claimed. Ravenclaw Pack was now Ravenclaw Clan.

I hated his guts. But I had to be respectful. My people's safety came first.

From the moment I climbed into his car, he showed me hatred. And whenever I misstepped, he didn't hesitate to shove me.

"You're no different from your sister," he'd say. "Same face. Same cunning nature. Don't think you'll gain sympathy from me."

I ignored his hateful behavior. I did my best to help during official pack alliances.

I endured his sister pushing me into a basin of silver. His brother dumping hot water on my hand. His pack members laughing at my pack's lost status.

Sitting here in my room, I shivered at the memories.

How would my life have been if Ina hadn't run away?

I didn't have time to answer. The door opened.

My mate stepped inside.

Dressed in a night-blue suit, he looked handsome. More than ever. His brown skin glowed under the sunlight spilling through the window. His jet-black hair fell over his shoulders.

"He's still handsome because he hasn't opened his gutter mouth yet," my wolf, Lumina, whispered.

"Turns out," he said through gritted teeth, "even under surveillance, you still find ways to betray my pack."

"I don't understand." I stood slowly. He was close. I knew he could hurt me.

"Don't play that card with me. Where are the plans you took? Where are they? Produce them before I squeeze the life out of you."

"I don't understand what you're saying, Tristan. What plans?"

He stepped closer. His scent invaded my nose. My heart pounded.

"You're so good at playing innocent." His hand moved to my face then gripped my neck. This was the first time he'd touched me since that night. "Do not provoke me. Those plans are crucial for my pack's safety. Bring them out. Now!"

He shoved me. I fell onto the bed.

"I don't even know what you're talking about! How could I take something from your office when I don't even know where it is?"

He stared at me for a moment. His jaw tightened.

Then he clapped his hands.

The doors opened. Two shielders walked in.

"If you won't talk, the dungeon will make you. I don't have time to waste with you here. The sooner you talk, the sooner you leave."

"But—but I didn't do anything!" I struggled to understand. What was he saying?

"Please, Tristan. I didn't do anything. I swear. I didn't take anything."

The shielders grabbed my arms.

I was dragged away. My voice faded. No one cared.

Omegas stopped in the corridors. They laughed. Some even spat on me.

The shielders didn't wait for me to stand. I was dragged. Mercilessly. My knees scraped against the marble floor. Then gravel. Then the path to the silent, stinking dungeon.

Without another word, I was thrown into a cell.

I fell. My head hit the wall. My knees bled. My palms burned.

Then I threw up.

"Day one and you're already vomiting?" Tristan's sister, Rimena, appeared outside the cell. "Look at the little princess. So delicate."

Why was she here? Did she take the papers?

Before I could speak, she cut me off.

"You're right. I took the papers. But who would believe you?"

"But why?" My voice was barely audible.

"Why?" She laughed. Clapped her hands. "Oh, poor Luma. You're just dirt. A smelly rogue. You don't belong here. Especially not with my brother. I want you gone. And I'll do anything to make that happen."

She left.

I sat there. Stunned. On the dusty floor. Inhaling the stench of wolves who had been here before me.

Goddess.

How did it come to this?

  • THE ALPHA'S SECRET TWINS    REAL WOLVES

NIGHTFANG PACKLUMA'S POVWith my friend taken back to the vampires, Noëlla back to her territory, and my parents back to my birth pack, I was once again alone. But this time it felt different. Like I could do it alone even without any of them by my side. The loneliness didn't sting the way it used to. It felt more like a quiet strength a recognition that I had survived before, and I would survive again. I had been through worse. I had been through the marking ceremony, the humiliation, the rejection. And I was still standing. As the plane of the vampires took off from the field of the Nightfangs pack, I turned and headed for the car. The wind whipped my hair across my face, and I tucked the strands behind my ears, my eyes fixed on the shrinking aircraft. It grew smaller and smaller until it was just a speck against the darkening sky. Another piece of my old life, disappearing into the clouds. This time around, Sanders didn't come with me. But the security was much more tighter. Shiel

  • THE ALPHA'S SECRET TWINS    RECLAIMING

NIGHTFANG PACKTRISTAN'S POV"Difficult to say exactly how many times she worked with him. But it's not once or twice that your sister betrayed you."I couldn't just stare away from the recent pictures my private investigator brought. Rimena almost everywhere. Meeting with strangers. Handing over documents. Her face hidden beneath hoods, but I knew her silhouette anywhere. I had raised and protected her. And now she was selling me out to anyone who would pay.The photographs were spread across my desk like evidence of a crime I didn't want to believe. Rimena in dark alleyways, exchanging packages with shadowy figures, laughing with vampires in hidden corners of the territory."How was it easy to obtain these pictures?""Though they refuse to say exactly what binds them to Miss Rimena, the betrayal is clear. She is not one of their own, and they can never accept a wolf into the world of vampires."I stared at the investigator a grizzled wolf with sharp eyes and a sharper tongue. He had b

  • THE ALPHA'S SECRET TWINS    BEGGING

NIGHTFANG PACKLUMA'S POVAnother day of my parents going back home. I was alone once again.I wanted to cry, but I feared they'd get worried. So instead, I remained by their sides throughout, getting their luggage ready until it was time to get to the airport. I folded clothes, checked documents, double-checked that nothing was left behind. All the while, a knot tightened in my chest. a familiar ache that I had learned to carry. After hugging the twins, my mom whispered that she needed us to talk so bringing the twins with us wouldn't be convenient.I nodded, promising to join them once the kids were in safe hands. After their car left, I and the twins went back to their bedroom."Lulu, come keep an eye on them until I'm back," I ordered. She nodded, smiling at the twins. The moment she carried Hope, the little one began giggling, her chubby hands reaching for Lulu's hair. Ash followed in silence, reserved as usual, his small hand clutching his sister's sleeve like a lifeline.Once r

  • THE ALPHA'S SECRET TWINS    THE JUDGMENT

NIGHTFANG PACKTRISTAN'S POVFainting after the recent chaos was unexpected, but the rest that came with it was very much needed to clear my head.I felt really much better. My fears of falling into another trance were rapidly discarded the moment the burns stopped. The fire that had consumed me had finally quieted, leaving only a dull ache behind a reminder of how close I had come to losing myself completely. But my conversation with Luma the night before still lingered. Her words echoed in my mind like a wound that wouldn't heal. "We just had a moment of fun. It can happen with anyone."I had everything I ever wanted from her except her heart. For long do I have to wait again?"A little bit of patience could be worth it, you know," Storm said. But I doubted it. Not even our patience had an effect on her. She had built walls around herself, and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't seem to break through. Every time I thought I was getting closer, she pulled further away."Do we intr

  • THE ALPHA'S SECRET TWINS    A FIGHT

NIGHTFANG PACKLUMA'S POVI was so angry.I didn't know why, but I couldn't hide the piercing pain in my chest. It was a dull, constant ache that seemed to grow with every breath I took. As I walked out of the bedroom I shared with Tristan, a wave of fresh air hit me in the corridors of the giant pack house. It should have been calming. It should have cleared my head.Instead, it just made me feel more alone. No doubt the sight of him made me mad."But he has nothing to do with Daniel's attack, and you know it," Lumina protested. No way was she defending him. If he didn't let his brother hurt me so much in the past, would we have ended in this situation? If he had protected me from the beginning, would Daniel have dared to attack me today? Would I have been humiliated in front of the entire pack, my clothes torn, my body bruised, my dignity stripped away?"He did hurt you, but there was never a moment when he encouraged his siblings to hurt us. We just had too many misunderstandings."

  • THE ALPHA'S SECRET TWINS    THE BROTHER

NIGHTFANG PACKTRISTAN'S POVMy presence alone may have made Luis slow down a bit but not Daniel. He wasn't slowing down. His attacks were relentless, vicious, driven by something darker than simple anger. His wolf was a blur of fury, teeth snapping, claws slashing at Luis with a desperation that bordered on madness. And Luis ,Luis was going all out to give him scars. Deep ones. By moon goddess, how did it come to this?Neither of them turned to me as Storm growled, finally taking over. My bones cracked, my vision sharpening and my senses expanding. Clothes shredded to the ground as my wolf surged forward with a roar.A single swat was enough to throw my brother to the ground and make him unconscious. His body hit the stone with a sickening thud, and he didn't move. But Luis,Luis was different. He matched my strength. For some reason, he refused to give up and constantly attacked. His wolf was larger than I remembered, his movements faster, more precise. At first it was a clash of do
