Lora's POV

“Very good Nick, for the first time in forever, you have spoken like a real man” I confess, clapping my hands with a smile, “I am truly proud of you my boy”

I couldn't help but feel a wave of excitement coursing through my blood streams as I thought about all the possible ways to end Octavia. Octavia has been thorn in my torn in my throat for as long as I could remember, and now it's finally time for me to get my pound of flesh.

Nick looks at me, his eyes blazing with rage as he ignores my former statement and just hurries to ask the question that plagues his mind.

“Mom, how do you supposed we kill her, by poison, or maybe an accident?" He asks, his tone laced with urgency and I am forced to interrupt.

“Patience my boy, we will get to that part later. We don't want to draw any suspicions to ourselves" I explain calmly.

In as much as I was expected about his sudden change of heart, I knew deep down that we had to be careful. We couldn't just rush into things without a plan

  • THE ALPHA'S SECRET    THE PLAN

LORA'S POV I lean back in my chair, letting the dim light of the study carve shadows across my face. Nick sits across from me, fidgeting slightly with a glass of white wine, and I trace the rim of my coffee cup with a fingernail, pounding about my next course of action, I look up and my eyes lock onto his.“You know what mother,” he say, his voice low and deliberate, “I think we need to carry out our plan of eliminating Eren” His words hang in the air, as he watches me. His eyes burning with sincerity. I shift in my seat. Swallowing a lump in my throat, “I don't think that is necessary anymore son. I think Eren being alive is more beneficial to us”“Are you being serious?” He doubts, a nonplussed frown on his face.I smirk. “Dead serious, son. We don’t always need blood to win. Sometimes, manipulation does the job for you.” I lean forward, letting a small chill settle in the room. “I have a new plan. One that doesn’t require risking everything on a direct attack. He won’t even see

  • THE ALPHA'S SECRET    NADIA'S DESPERATION

THIRD PERSON POV Octavia, now known as Zebrina blinks against the soft morning light filtering through the curtains, her head throbbing faintly from the events of the night before. For a moment, she doesn’t remember where she is—then a small, warm hand rests gently on her arm.“Wake up sleepyhead” Nadia's voice booms in her ear. She opens her eyes completely to see Nadia who has been her good friend in present times.“Nadia good morning” She says sitting upright, as she yawns away the sleep.“Good morning Zebrina. How was your night?” Nadia asks with a concern smile.“Good” Octavia (Zebrina) says before a deep, steady voice interrupts, carrying a warmth that makes her heart stutter. Zebrina.” She turns to see him, her father standing in the doorway, his presence commanding yet gentle. For a heartbeat, she can’t move, nor can’t speak. She felt a strange connection to him, like there was something pulling them together.“I know you might not know who I am but I will like you to know t

  • THE ALPHA'S SECRET    EREN'S DECISION

EREN'S POV The moment the hospital doors close behind me, the world feels different.Sunlight spills over the driveway, warm and golden, but I barely notice it. My hands are full. Two little boys, swaddled in blankets, both sleeping quietly against my chest. Their tiny bodies are perfect, and fragile. The pack house is loud the second we arrive. People shouting, clapping, celebrating like it’s the greatest day of the year. Music plays somewhere in the background. Laughter and voices fill the air.I barely hear it. I don’t hear it.I only feel the weight of the babies in my arms.“We are home now” I whisper, rocking them gently. One stirs and blinks up at me with tiny brown eyes. My chest tightens. “Daddy is here and will never leave you, promise.”People cheer around me, but I don’t turn. I don’t smile. I don’t acknowledge them. They can shout and dance, they can welcome me home, but I honestly don't care.I only have eyes for these two little lives in my arms. They are the only one

  • THE ALPHA'S SECRET    ZEBRINA'S AWAKENING

NADIA'S POVI stand on the balcony, arms crossed, staring at the dark sky above. The wind whips through my hair. Everything feels heavy, like the sky itself is holding its breath. It's been a week since Octavia underwent the vampire ritual but still nothing, she still lies motionless in bed, only difference now is she's breathing, her hair has turned completely white now and all her wounds have healed up leaving behind just scars.“I see you are enjoying the view” A voice booms behind me followed by footsteps. I turn and there he is, Draluke. Octavia’s father."Yes, Good evening lord Draluke” I greet respectfully but he doesn't seem impressed in the slightest.“Spell me all the the formalities, you are my daughter's friend. You can call me uncle" He says and I nod simply. Then everything goes silent for a while. We just silently watch the sky twinkle in the sky.He doesn’t speak at first. Neither do I. But I can’t keep the question inside anymore.“Uncle may I ask you a question?" I a

Her eyes, though, never leave the babies. She watches them like they’re hers. She’s been here for hours—feeding them, burping them, holding them close.Eren stands in the doorway, watching her. His eyes are red. Puffy. Tired. But still searching for answers.“She’s good with them,” Lora had said earlier. “Maybe she’s what you need now.”And maybe she is.He walks into the room slowly, and Bennis looks up. Her smile is soft and warm.“They’re angels,” she whispers. “Both of them. They have your nose.”Eren tries to smile, but it doesn’t reach his eyes.“Bennis,” he says quietly, “can I talk to you?”She nods quickly, placing a kiss on one of the baby’s heads befor

  • THE ALPHA'S SECRET    MANIPULATION

THIRD PERSON POV The morning sun leaks through the window blinds, warm and soft against Eren’s skin.He blinks slowly, staring up at the white ceiling above him. For the first time in what feels like forever, the fog in his head is starting to lift. His limbs feel heavy, but his heart… his heart is pounding. He remembers, not everything, but enough.“Octavia…”Her name escapes his lips like a breath he’s been holding for years. He immediately sits up, pain flaring through his side, but he pushes through it. The hospital room is quiet, nothing in sight but a glass of water, still sitting untouched on the table. His heart races with panic and unanswered questions.“ Where is she?” He doubts confused as she searches the room for answers but get none.He swings his legs off the bed in a panic, the floor cool under his feet. He grabs the IV pole for balance and stumbles toward the door to search for the reason he had been fighting for, the woman his heart yearned for and the mother of he
